But why not up in arms about NI being treated differently as a result of the Brexit vote ?

If the sanctity of the Union is paramount surely that is bad ? Genuine question I am not really into this subject

Yes, equally as bad and I speak to Irish mates daily.

Well

she has rigged the electorate

and if she is to break the union, why do I , as a British citizen, not have a say?

How has she rigged it ?
The Poles did not have a say in Brexit same logic ?

Surely sturgeon failing in Scotland is bad new for the tory bummers on here?

Would Labour not get their old patch back up there?

How ? You clearly don't follow it do you fella ?

No insult, but I do. She wants to run an advisory referendum which is illegal.

Well, yes. But wouldn't that have to come about as a result of a democratic process, rather than just because of her?

I'm not taking the piss here, I just don't really follow it, but I thought it'd have to be via a referendum.

When we wanted to quit our membership the EU, we didn't give the citizens of the other 27 members a say did we. So if they want to leave their membership of the UK, I'm not sure why the English, Welsh or Northern Irish should have a say. Its for them to make the decision on their own surely.

Exactly, has to be legally, and she isn't doing it that way.

Side note : 76th anniversary of Auschwitz liberation tomorrow  👍

What vote is this?

Good point

but I read that she has extended the electorate in the event of another referendum, and maybe for other votes?

Might be wrong

I suppose there is a difference that Scotland is not separate so you have a UK passport,

They had their say a few years ago in their once in a generation vote.....Krankie's own words

And don't start re Brexit either pal, she knew full well that was happening as I've shown earlier and she still chose those words. If she was concerned re the Brexit outcome, she could have deferred her once in a generation vote until after Brexit. Ironically, she would probably have won it then.

Lowering the age to 16 yes. Not sure about anything else.

Doesn’t matter. It’s Upto the people of Scotland to decide and nobody else. Same with Northern Ireland/Ireland if they have that vote as well.

I will be very sad if she gets a vote as I believe they will get independence. I could be wrong. I didn’t think brexit would be voted for.

Sad because it means I will need to leave the country ive called home for nearly 15 years.

I don't think they should be allowed a referendum at all. They had their chance and didn't take it,if let them have another vote in a hundred years or so.

Anyway as Spider says, it won't happen anyway.
