Like I said - no. If you've had personal experience with mental illness, that only makes your baseless accusations worse.

Accusations of what? Go on enlighten me please do

same as your actual accusations of someone being a racist that sort or different?

You obviously know, or you wouldn't have got involved. I didn't even mention you, or anyone else.

How do you know what I’m thinking? Why aren’t you a top psychologist somewhere given your insight? Genuine question?

In reality  you know fuck all about me or what I’m thinking or what I know or don’t know. So save the preaching for someone else and like I say get your own house in order before you start playing that card I suggest

No you really haven’t. But if it makes you feel better carry on. Same as I will

I guarantee I know more about you than you do me.

Can't be arsed trawling back through recent posts. I have to be frugal with the posts now for reasons known only to myself and one other. If I start to respond to individual posts by kakorrhaphiophobic shrinking violets I might exceed my remit.

If ever absolute and undeniable confirmation was needed that the UK was right to leave the EU then this vaccine row is it. The EU through its lumbering, stumbling, top heavy bureaucracy took 3 months longer than us and many other independent countries to make crucial decisions. Even to this day their constipated system still hasn't approved the AstraZeneca vaccine for use but von der Liar and her cronies are screaming blue murder about its supply (or lack thereof) and acting like the mafia they are in threatening to block exports of the Pfizer vaccine to the UK. This would cause the breach of a supply contract between that company and the UK government for reasons that are nothing to do with the AZ vaccine production problems at the Belgian factory - simply spiteful behaviour by the EU in trying to blackmail the UK as is their norm.

What an absolute shower of shit they really are. Far better off out as more will come to realise as time passes.

Yet more coprophagistic rhetoric from a mealy-mouthed resident of an asian cul-de-sac (and Spanish bolt-hole).

We'll be signed back up within twenty odd years as the old farts die off and Europhiles come of age.

In the meantime the self-inflicted penury here in The UK will create one notable and glorious development.

A Socialist government for the foreseeable - a rule that's egalitarian and noble, and self-serving weasels like Defeffel Johnson and his chinless bint will scuttle back under their rock.

If you're not pushing up daisies by then they (Spain) might even let the likes of you and Mounts back in after we rejoin.*

Long live The European Union.

Viva Socialismo.

Can someone point me to where the EU have said they are going to stop vaccines being sent out ?
I have seen they are going to monitor vaccines leaving the EU.

I have seen they are pissed off that they are not getting the agreed supply

I have seen that they also paid £bns upfront

I have seen that their contract with AZ defines the UK sites as the primary sites for production of their supplies and that is why the money above could be sent there

I have seen Spain are going to have to suspend vaccines for 2 weeks due to supply issues

I do think the EU have been slower than us but actually stopping vaccines going out ?? I do not have a 'side' in this just trying to see a credible report on someone stopping life saving supplies being sent. The EU have been daft on the monitoring side of things as they need supplies from the UK it seems rather than other way round

Kakorrhaphiophobia is a fear of failure for those of you who are worried that Bolty has had a stroke and is now just aimlessly punching his keyboard with a limp, rudderless left arm. I mean, he probably is anyway, and the dribble is causing his fingers to slip and slide all over the place.

He will have read it in the Daily Mail.

Of much more interest is the mysterious and deliciously set up suggestion that he is somehow physically limited to a certain cap of posts on a football forum. That really has got me reaching for my deerstalker and elaborate smoking pipe.

I wonder what could possibly cause such a dramatic, Shaftesbury Avenue-worthy story? The only occasions that immediately leap to mind are GERMAN library computers with a time limit, or some other form of incarceration where a strict, heavily-breasted captor is permitting rationed internet access.

Is it a coded cry for help?

Do we need to ring the Australian bogeys?

This is massive, people. A collective effort is required to solve the mystery.

Bolty Dooby Dooooooo

We start with the biggest clue of all.

”Only one other” knows the reason.

An accomplice sworn to secrecy. A bond of scootery brotherhood that will be impossible to break.

It’ll be a regular, old school, maybe a moderator....

He WANTS us to find out. He wouldn’t have mentioned it at all if he didn’t.

You just posts your posts and get on with life if it’s a genuine secret.

No, he’s left us a map. X marks the spot and all that.

Magnifying glasses at the ready.

I think it’s something to do with fishing quotas 😉

It’s a good start Boby, but I think maybe a back burner for the time being.

However, your swift response does put you in the frame as the accomplice. Vespa or Lambretta?

The tree-hugging post is also a huge clue.

Hes started doing extremely un-Bolty like things of late, whilst also becoming increasingly angry and screechy in his posts.

If he’s on rations, that would explain his need to cram as much vitriol and content into each missive.

He’s posting cordial, and we need to water it down and find the code.

Psychology sleuths will probably have read the lack of fruit posts as a metaphor for a lack of something else. If a post is made about marbles - or a single marble - we can all conclude the same.

Lambretta. 1962 LI 125 Italian. I haven’t a clue what he’s angling at.

Ssshhh. Don’t ruin it.

He promised to leave in December.

Now this.

He’s teasing the whole board.

But there’s method in his considerable madness.

All reasonable enough.

The issue the eu have though, is that they weren't first in the queue. Whether or not some of their supply is due from the UK or anywhere else doesn't really matter.

If they can only produce a given number at a time, then they're going to service the first contract primarily.

Talk this morning that the EU contract is different to the UK one too, in that it is a more lose agreement with more of a best endeavours commitment.

More fundamentally too, is the fact that they still haven't approved it: furthermore to this, as the AZ testing regime apparently didn't use individuals over a certain age, there is a rumour that their European approval body won't allow it for use in those over 65 (could have been 70).

Do not disagree with any of that, as I say the EU have not covered themselves in glory here. I heard the over 65 rumour as well, because the sample size of over 65s was small in the trial. Strange think with that is that whatever sample size results are pretty consistent across age groups so why let that delay things?
I know on this thread it seems people think you either love or hate the EU, I am pretty much in the middle. But when you see all the usual suspects like Farage shouting about this it is a pity that our more rational news outlets do not at least try to give a balanced view.

As you say all this fuss when they have not even approved the vaccine is again poor from the EU

I don't think the EU will stop exports, but the have been openly pissy and have talked about monitoring.

I dont understand why there isn't the same criticism of Pfizer; neither is meeting their ideal levels. Sometimes success brings its own downside; everyone needs some patience.

Not a great image.
