There have been positives & negatives since the murder. Negatives being rash political policies such as defund the police that are being rushed through. Plus the domination of the issue by BLM, who clearly don't speak for all Black people & distance many.

Positives being the raising of awareness. Particularly to the prison system in the States. Which is still locking up thousands of innocent Black folk who can't afford bail. Then denying them a fair trial. Documentary 13th on Netflix tells it better than I could & was watched by millions after last year's murder. Conviction of the cop is also a massive positive. As are some of the new policies that are being introduced to deal with police brutality & social issues. Thank fuck Biden is now in to provide a bit of stability & rationality.

But until someone in America introduces some meaningful gun legislation & stands up to the NRA, then the cycle will continue.

Nobody on here is over ruling Rudy ffs.

A black guy was killed by the Police 12 months ago, we have spent pages talking about the impact, be that footballers kneeling, statues being pulled down, marches, protests, counter protests , multi National companies joint in on social media so yes a massive impact.
