But we know, and have done for years that all colours are killed by bad policing. In many states more blacks are killed by black officers than whites. 
 

There is a massive problem with the standard of policing in America, this has been known for years. Because GF was black and the copper was white (There was also a mixed race cop and an Asian) this has been turned into a race topic instead of a standard of policing topic.

Personally I do not understand why GF  death would be the thing people choose to remember today. Pretty sure a lot of people on here will have had friends and/or family at the Arena. But as I am doing nothing than dropping a message to a lad I know was there I can not really criticise folk who have a cause that they want to support today.

I agree with a lot of what you say. I was more questioning the motives of a business to run a campaign in line with the anniversary of GF’s death mate. To me they are trying to profit from the death of a person and gather favour from all the candle lighting brigade. It’s quite sad really. 
 

but if folk Think it’s appropriate so be it. Wouldn’t catch me doing it
