South Ayrshire council have been repeatedly blaming the tories and brexit for the troubles of farmers in their council are. It’s ran by the snp. Yesterday they announced they wanted to cut red meat production in the area by 75%. They’ve been asked if that sort of compounds the issues that they claim have been caused by brexit and are basically killing off their livestock farmers. Their response is...... it’s the tories fault. I considered trying to unravel the logic for a split second. Then realized there isn’t any. 
I think Fartelli Would make an excellent mp for the snp.

I think you have hit the nail on the head.  Johnson had a choice after Cummingsgate to either do the right thing and sack him or insult the whole country who were following lockdown rules.  The fact that he backed him shows Johnson has absolutely no decency or integrity (but we knew this anyway).

Taking ‘some’ of the blame but basically saying Boris was too busy going on holiday and treating it like a scare story.

If true, as it seems to be, this makes Boris look like a blundering incompetent clown.

Which means his popularity will soar once again, no doubt.

I can not stand Boris, Gove and a few others, always felt a bit sorry for Hancock for some reason.

Cummings has always seemed like a snake in the grass, but this committee is the start of opening up on what has happened during the pandemic. I think the Govt at some stage are going to have to admit they made mistakes, but that does not mean they totally fucked  up.

The lack of urgency early on is something most people can see. Chucking folk back into care homes was not great, PPE will raise its head. But the furlough scheme and speed of that , more recently vaccines was very good imo. 

If we want a public enquiry and there needs to be one it needs to be fair and balanced, today is an ex employee with an axe to grind and personal agenda so it will be a kicking day for the Govt but the enquiry has to be much deeper and balanced. 
I won't be shouting "off with his head" based purely on Cummings input.

The 5th biggest nation on Earth had zero plans for a pandemic, and were letting this bald nonce run the show even as folk were dying.

Meanwhile, on the 12th March, Boris was more worried about his bird kicking off over a story in a newspaper about her dog.
