Protesters tend to make a bit of a scene. It's how they get their point across. If they stand there motionless with a placard it never makes the news.

Granted some take it too far... But the stuff in the video is hardly anything to get your knickers in a twist about.

I know and I tend to say look at the state of them at the majority of demos regardless of what they’re demonstrating about. No knickers getting twisted.

Thought he'd bought all those extra water cannons Johnson spent my money on.

Nice gesture.

Bit of humility and acceptance they maybe went about things in the wrong way , hopefully lead to adult discussions and a resolution acceptable to both sides.

Well said Andrew Marr.

Where are all the visionaries these days? I thought they'd want to stand up and be counted during the last couple of weeks to tell us why we are all so blind.

Or has it become too WokeWays for them all?

You're right -  How shortsighted of us all not to have the foresight to see the annoucement and then subsequent U-turn.

Foolish of me really.

Thought it was the 65 billion that did it? Have the BOE spent the 65 billion yet?

I see the pound is back to just being shit rather than not worth a wank.

£65bill well spent.

In other news the Labour party are only just processing my application, wasn't like this under Blair!

They said they'd be spending at least £5B per day buying bonds, from last Wednesday, so they've spent a fair bit so far, and I presume they're continuing to do so, otherwise I'm sure they'd have made a statement saying otherwise.

I think Boby is suggesting that nothing the Government ever does has any affect at all on either exchange rates or interest rates

That's what was projected until yesterday's U-turn.

That’s to prop up government bonds not the pound isn’t it?
