Right decision but good grief she sat there defending it yesterday.  Who is leading this farce ?

Let’s see if there is a windfall tax u-turn, once OBR been through the numbers it might be needed and where easier to plug the gap.

And later the same day, distanced herself from it, saying it wasn't discussed?

Thank god they did this U turn before it caused any damage. Phew.

They should have let Rachel Reeves do the mini-budget.

even Vic Reeves would have done a better job

It's ok. His mates made millions shorting the pound.

Precisely. They “heard” the public, the press, the Bank of England and the markets last week and ignored them all. Then they were told yesterday that their MPs wouldn’t back it, resulting in a humiliating defeat in the Commons and they suddenly saw the light.

Distracting? Dis-fucking-stracting?

I'll not hold my breath on that one, as that would undermine the entire "policy" that she used when running for leadership of the party

Indeed.

A threat to withdraw the whip from MPs who vote against loses its power when so many of them are willing to do just that.

Nobody has said they should be arrested and if that’s what your mates dress like then fair enough, if mine turned up dressed like that they’d be getting told. You’ve made some weird comparisons, obviously it’s late on a Sunday so I’ll put it down to the ale like I do with fromage.

Night lad.

They'd be getting told 🙈

What weird comparisons have I made? You posted a video of a Tory being heckled by protestors as if it was a mega drama. Most of them were dressed fairly normally. And who cares if they weren't. My mates wear all sorts of clothes, I couldn't give a shit what they wear, it's their choice.

What do you think the protestors should wear to make sure their points better heard? Stone Island? Military attire?

No Sunday Ale for me lad 🙂

As I said it’s more to do with actions. Again if you think screaming into someone’s face who’s going to work, sounding air horns in their faces, calling them then asking for photos is normal, regardless of which political party they support, then so be it, I think it’s odd. For some reason you brought football fans into it and like I said if they carried out similar actions I would be saying the same. It’s something I would say about most protestors, extinct rebellion, the Brexit lot etc. I’m not to sure why you’re so upset about it?

Not really, it's like when you posted the video about some weirdo playing at the Labour Party conference last year to try and make a point

What point are you suggesting I was trying to make? What made him a weirdo? Is there some sort of guide in the politics thread as to what we can and can’t post? And as I said in the first post on this “both sides”

I'm not upset about anything mate 😁

Protesters tend to make a bit of a scene. It's how they get their point across. If they stand there motionless with a placard it never makes the news.

Granted some take it too far... But the stuff in the video is hardly anything to get your knickers in a twist about.
