Just watched the Labour manifesto launch and Starmer IMO was excellent. He sounded like a PM in waiting.

Because he is. There is no other possible result unless he turns up his toes before Independence Day and the ginger minger takes over.

You've been out of Bolton for too long. Bloody nightmare round here!

Fair enough - might be round here for all I know, only been here a week. Back in Bromley it was all people on electric scooters on pavements knicking phones etc not dirt bikes

Was an excellent launch - dealt with the heckler really well, and shut down Beth Rigby's question/provocation.

I think after the last three weeks I might revise my numbers - maybe a 100 seat majority now? Mind you three weeks is still a long time, there might be one or two twists and turns yet, although The Tories do seem to have given up.

you're kidding us on, I can see where you've tried to photoshop out that Penny Farthing, but you've still left the main wheel there for all to see

same here, I've not heard or seen a dirt bike around here for over ten years I reckon. It's all those E-Scooters and some petrol powered ones the scrotes ride around now

A boring manifesto launched by a boring, hard working politician.

No “big characters”, no “sensational ideas”, just practical dullards.

Like politics used to be. This should suit our pensioners on here who are constantly wishing we could hark back to simpler times.

I still have a nagging doubt it might all go wrong.

I sincerely hope so because things will certainly go wrong big style if Mr Human Bollard and his dodgy crew get into No10.

good point, best leave Sunak at the helm, no point disrupting things whilst they're going so well

“It’s not about rabbits out the hat, it’s not about pantomime, we’ve had that. I’m running as a candidate to be Prime Minister, not a candidate to run the circus”

As far as I can see the threat to labour isn't from the Tories or Reform/Brexit Party/UKIP more from disenfranchised lefties voting Green or Lib Dem.

Me too - just taken delivery of my I'm Voting Labour stake - I'm going to be as popular as a fart in a lift round here. All true Blue.

Apathy will be the biggest threat - folk not voting or think Labour will walk it and going Green or lib dem as they think it won't matter.
