We do need a sensible Tory to get a hold of that party. Rishi I quite liked but he was too weak to grip the party and make it sensible. We need a functioning opposition and an alternative but Badenoch is the least inspiring LOTO since Hague, ignoring Corbyn who was a whole different sort of inept.

Saw her yesterday papping on about how you have to earn the right to be British.

Then saw a Nigerian TV report of how her mother flew to London, gave birth to her, flew straight back to Nigeria and she didn’t come back to Britain until she was 16.

for the record, I do not propose any such law changes but we do have some major cross cultural issues in the UK which need to be addressed. Reform nutters are not going to provide the answers as they only create more division (see recent riots which they stoked as an example). We all have to be more tolerant and we need a moderate sensible government to lead us.

One minute you have people voting for people because they are of the same religion. Then you get those politicians calling for laws to protect that particular religion..

Blasphemy laws, the teaching of certain subjects in schools, and we go on and on.

I think there are - Christian’s who vote in particular ways because they feel those people represent them.

I also don’t think there is much risk we will pass a bunch of blasphemy laws. 

And like America there are plenty of Christian’s who want their faith to dictate what you can do, say abortion or the end of life discussions. 

Muslims aren’t the issue. People are.
