A few of us said yesterday she'd be gone quickly, I'm glad she has, not because it's her, but because somebody who has done wrong, has been removed from a position of influence and power. It's a shame not all the Political parties are so quick to do the same.

indeed

still think its a sad day as she showed you could be one of lifes unfortunates have some tough breaks and still achieve something

As Labour are one of the two biggest parties and dont have as many outside large backers that the Tories do (or did) £5.88 a month seems fair to make sure they have enough to still be a major party in the country.

I actually pay £8.50 a month as I increased it during the election. Its less than my Tate membership and slightly more than my Disney Plus. Seems good value if you support a certain political party.

My missus is a paid up Labour Party member, she inherited the belief from her late father who like a lot of blokes after WW2 came home and wanted to build a fairer society. She does not like the present "New Labour Mk2" mob and is thinking more Green these days.

Me? I tend to be apolitical and enjoy watching whoever in charge balls it up... makes me feel less inadequate when I see the bosses cocking everything up just like me 🙂

Used to be right of centre I suppose but seem to have become more socialist and less dog eat dog with age.

If you really believe a party is the best for the country and want to support them it is totally up to you how you do this.

Personally never thought any one party represents my views on every or even most subjects.

Labour dont represent all of mine, and i dont agree with every Labour MP - be a bit odd that.

But I do still believe they are the best party for our country which is why im happy to pay my subs to help in a small way to them functioning as a party. I joined in 95, left when Corybn took over leadership and rejoined under Starmer.

Lapse of judgement and she's paid the price, job was probably a step too far. She is probably a good. MP but that is now blighted.

Book deal next I suppose.

Fair enough, I have never felt any party was close to representing my views and beliefs , would never have voted for Labour under Corbyn or the Tories under Boris or anyone who has come since.

In my younger days I hated Thatchers policies but can not help but think how such a strong leader would be in some ways good for us now. Then I remember how heartless they were in delivering some policies.

Given she is buying a home in Hove as her main residence I do wonder if she is going to change her direction. Would not be a shock if she stepped down as an MP.

It doesn’t matter if you’re educated at Eton or chucking kids out at 16, the fkin lot of them are proving year in year out that they’re all self serving wankers. None of them can be trusted.

Give it to King Charles till the end of the season with big Sam as deputy

I dont even like a lot of the members. The thing with a party so big is that it is the cliche that its a broad church. From the more hard-line lefties to the more centrists like myself. One of Labours biggest issues is that as a party they have always been happy arguing amongst themselves about who is the heart of the party, whereas uo until recently the Tories knew when to shut up and pull together as one until the harder right Europescepics took over and now look at the mess they are in. Same issue Labour had in the 80s and 2000s under Corybn.

I see RW is another one who'd like to give power away to unelected inherited titles and away from the population 😄

Where's that Magna Carta? Lets burn that for a start! And then we can all start going back to being serfs.

either that or Only Fans

She does have a passing resemblance to Lauren Phillips, so could maybe move to Hollywood and become her stunt double

Woman round here does Only Fans, currently owns about 15 houses she bought for cash and is now selling them as moving to Dubai to live. My missus works for the Estate Agents she manages her houses through. Suggested they tried a job share.

Farage on at the minute at the Reform Party Conference, suggesting that as Rayner has gone, it could be the beginning of the end of Labour, and we could get a GE in 2027.

I've not been overly listening, but he seems to reckon loads of Labour MPs will defect over to Corbyn, which is what could/would trigger a GE.

I don't know much about it, is that a likely event @Not in Crawley?

Fuck me, he's just introduced Nadine Dorries onto the stage, as the sort of "talented person" that can help them win the next GE 🤪

Reform would fuck our economy back to the stone age.

Those were the words of an American investor I spoke to yesterday at a trade event.

I look forward to sniping from the sidelines the second they rise to power. I mean, let's be honest, as the pillars of free speech I'm certainly not going to be stopped from voicing any opinion.

They will, I'm sure, stuff the yanks words down his throat and take us to financial paradise within 6 months.

Genuinely looking forward to it. 🙂

Same here. This country has lost it's collective mind over the last decade. I'm going to laugh my bollocks off when Farage becomes PM and shafts every single fuckwit who voted for him.

My mate used to shoot for the jazz mags... he could offer her a cover on Real Wives 😛
