One thing about Reform which seems to be ignored by its supports on social media, is what the fact they seem to be against workers rights and want to make it like the US where you work "At will" employment..

They have not been in power in Lancashire County council long and are already trying to close a retirement home near me that has a waiting list, so its not like its not needed

So I'm not seeing how they are for the working man or even the elderly.

They don't give a single fuck about 'the working man' beyond getting his vote. It's going to be funny as fuck when the penny finally drops for their supporters.

I think the people living in the councils they run could be in for a very rude awakening in the not too distant future, sadly......

I agree, I might not find it funny if my partner loses her job working for one of the councils under their control. Or even worse if they get in power and I can be fired for my job whenever they feel like it. I suppose a lot of people who are non-PAYE might not care though. Also if they decide to follow what RFK does with his idiotic idea of banning SSRI's and ADHD treatment I will suddenly become a very unproductive member of society and end up in jail or becoming an "undesirable", fun.

I think if they show their true colours too early it will cost them the general election, thank fuck.

Farage will be exposed as a money laundering shitbag before the election.

Not that that will dissuade some folk

I think Kent County Council, that they run, are talking about Council Tax increasing by the maximum of 5% next year, after promising they'd slash costs and save money. I suspect, they blindly thought they could come in and save a load of money, without properly looking into it.

For what it's worth, I suspect most other County Councils, across the country, will be looking to raise by the maximum 5% as well next year, so it won't just be a Reform issue

I suspect that the Tories will rebuild and be a player again by the next election, I can't see the rank and file voting electorate going full-on Reform but Conservative... maybe.

His supporters will actively cheer it on, same as Trump being a Paedo. They'll forgive their idols anything

I have a sneaky feeling that useless bag of custard, Johnson may well attempt to make a comeback at some point

I feel like for the most part he can do what he wants as long as he makes " The correct people" suffer. Which seems to be a nice trait we are importing from the US. Plus, he has kind proven he can do what he wants during and after Brexit.

He might actually be our saviour if he splits the right wing vote, he could save the country! Who'd have thought it?

Had the synagogue attacker been issued a visa? That might answer one of your incessant contrary questions.

The synagogue attacker was a British citizen. Are you suggesting all Muslims should have their citizenship revoked? Or something else? Spit it out ffs.

What is 'the peoples' biggest gripe with Starmer that makes them hate him so much? I genuinely don't get it.

I read he was granted citizenship as a teenager, maybe we should monitor new citizens a little closer, he had previously been in trouble with the police

If you don't mind me saying, he probably portrays himself as too superior... a bit like yourself 😉

He was granted citizenship in 2006, so he'd have been about 15/16  - I'm not sure how long he'd been in the country for prior being granted citizenship.

He's not Nigel Farage..........

I don't mind you saying anything. If that's their biggest gripe, I'm even more confused. Can you expand on it a bit?

It mentions here that he had a normal childhood in Manchester during the 90's, so basically from toddler age.

It's interesting that in that second link there's a statement from his father expressing how appalled he was that his son had attacked a "Jewish synagogue"

Yet his father had previously claimed on social media that history will apologise to Hitler

The following few paragraphs of the BBC article also mention his now-deleted facebook posts celebrating the October 7th attack.
