Aye, I saw that too.

They're Israelis though, and can understand their sentiment, even if it sits uneasily.

The people in my links are British, or living in Britain as migrants.

Many of them are aggressive in their attitudes towards British values, and pursuit of Islamic rights here.

It's in the reports.

Meanwhile Jews here have very different attitudes towards Britain.

Agreed to a certain extent but as an active old bugger clocking 70 I do feel the cold more these days... I honestly don't know why, probably something to do with body mass, but as you get older you need more external warmth... so we need to build that into the equation.

If only they had have thought of that at the beginning. They had to be told by their own back benchers that the original policy was wrong. They still got it wrong with the income levels imo.

I imagine you do mate. I'm not disputing that but I think there needs to be a cut off. Isn't it 35k? Assuming that's per person I don't think it's too bad. Although, I wouldn't be averse to raising it considerably given the financial climate.

 

But not everyone needs not from a financial sense and it can be better spent elsewhere.

I thought it was always means tested. Isn't £35k per annum enough to be able to afford heating? As I said, I wouldn't be against increasing the threshold tbh but I don't think every pensioner in the UK needs it.

Raise income tax threshold to £20,000. Reduce VAT to 18%. Reduce non essential immigration. Start re drilling in the North Sea thus creating more jobs primarily for the working class. Prioritize British citizens for social housing. Freeze energy bills.
