David Lammy is demented and deranged.

Everytime I've heard him speak (especially when he presents a show on LBC) I always think he comes across as very eloquent....whilst talking absolute nonsense. The fact, that he has risen to such a lofty position amazes me

If it's too much maybe he can get back on Putin's payroll.

He's probably still on it....

If it's not that they're just shit, then they really do need to hire better comms people

Spider is losing the plot. Reform don't stand in Australian elections.

It takes a lot of concerted effort to continually drive down your popularity ratings with pollsters. At least give them credit for that.

They are Reforms best cheerleader.

We asked 100 people to name something British. You said painting fences.

Don't bother.

He is a serial poster of comments like this.

One of a small number.

Whenever someone responds, it is ignored, and them the same question is repeated at some later point.

It is easy to find information about any party- if you can be arsed.

You don't have to agree with those details, but they're there.

Anyway, this fella does analysis on various topics. He does get a bit wordy at times, but he approaches subjects from a "legal" view.

Who else is a serial poster of comments like this?

I don’t think you’ll like the answer, because I’ve done some research kidda

PS: ChatGPT can’t help you this time, I notice it’s starting to do your posts here and there

Dream on!

Yes Labour still need to improve their comms big time, but I think what Starmer’s speech again showed is that he is at heart a decent man who puts the country first. Public service.

Nicely highlights that Farage on the other hand is a divisive grifter who knows he can only get into power by dividing groups and communities against each other. He’s being found out though.

I can hear normality and decency marching down the road again 😉.

What’s that phrase ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’?

He should have gone with this. Misread the mood of the room.😊

They'll be listing Reform policies next.

I wonder what they are....?

So what is the WW alternative to RR's fiscal rules and overall direction?

And would it be seen as a drastic u-turn?

Burnham has touted something similar

Burnham has touted something similar

She should have reversed the NI reduction that Hunt brought in at the last Tory budget. She should not have promised ‘no tax increases’. Every economist I’ve read said that they were needed and still are. The NI increase on employers has backfired. She wanted to reduce the welfare bill at the spring statement but couldn’t get her own party to accept it.
Her weakness has led to higher borrowing and higher borrowing costs. She’s made it more difficult for herself because she got it wrong at her first attempt. It’s going to be tough all round. There’s more but I ain’t got the time.
ps. Disappointed in Burnham’s comments on the economy. He ain’t the answer. Imo.

When people say make Britain great again and hark back to better days they're on about getting rid of all the darkies

So out of touch, it's embarrassing

Agreed regarding the "no tax increases", the fiscal rules would be more effective if the economy was growing. They got carried away during the election promising not to raise taxes on working folk. So to meet the rules and keep the promise she went for the employers and effectively stifled growth. So now she is stuck with zero growth and her rules... I call this Austerity.

Not taken much notice of Burnham but I did pick up on a comment from him about not playing along so much with the Bond Markets which was the essence of the Guardian Editorial... I think he knows that dropping these fiscal rules will be the end of The Starmer and Reeves Show and he sees an opportunity.

i predict theres no cash left in that business

but starmer
