The synagogue attacker was a British citizen. Are you suggesting all Muslims should have their citizenship revoked? Or something else? Spit it out ffs.

He came from Syria at 16. Folk are right to be angry about it.

Problem is that morons are now looking at stuff like this & saying all of Islam is a cancer & all Muslims are not compatible with ‘our culture’. The remigration calls that used to be isolated to racist parties like the BNP, are now becoming more mainstream.

The bigger it grows the more incompatible it becomes.

No he didn't. See above.

It's interesting that in that second link there's a statement from his father expressing how appalled he was that his son had attacked a "Jewish synagogue"

Yet his father had previously claimed on social media that history will apologise to Hitler

I’ve just read his father’s post from the 7th October. It’s vile.

No way he can distance himself. Looks like he’s played an active part in brainwashing his son.

I thought that was when he became a UK Citizen, having arrived years before when he was an actual child

Would be nice to see him being fucked off, however he will probably end up in a safe house somewhere

Think I read the father moved to France ten years ago. Apparently the family stayed in Manchester & started wearing much more traditional clothing & shouting the Quran to people on the street.

Here’s his Dad’s comment over the weekend,

The al-Shamie family in the UK and abroad strongly condemns this heinous act, which targeted peaceful, innocent civilians.“

But Hamas are ‘men of God’ & ‘heroes’ for targeting peaceful innocent civilians at a music festival.

The hypocritical scumbag. Get him in court here for inciting hatred & remove his medical licence. It won’t happen, & that’s part of the problem.

Problem is with comments like this is that it just generalises all Muslims.

There are extremist & conservative elements of Islam here that aren’t compatible with our values. But there are also plenty of white British folk whose views aren’t compatible. Plenty of Muslim majority communities will continue to grow & will be perfectly compatible.

Folk are obsessing over Islam as some sort of enemy to ‘our way of life’. Rather than being specific about it being Islamic extremism. Suddenly all Muslims are to blame; rather than the small minority who hold those beliefs. The generalisations & misinformation being spread are outright dangerous. To the point where you’ve now got people setting their local mosque on fire because they’ve been brainwashed by this rhetoric.

Then you’ve got Reform & the Unite the Kingdom movement (spearheaded by Tommy Robinson) saying that Islam isn’t compatible. But what we need instead is to build alliances with an ultra conservative American Christian movement & let that spread over here. The fckn morons.

Don’t call it out though. Otherwise you’re just defending the  ‘cancer’ or you’re a sheltered liberal with your head in the sand 🙄

I don't mind you saying anything. If that's their biggest gripe, I'm even more confused. Can you expand on it a bit?

Just joshing you mate... but talking with you is sometimes like talking to Penelope Keith😁

the problem is not Islam universally, it's political or extremist factions and regional communities

the grooming gangs aren't black or arab muslim for example

and you don't hear much about indonesian muslims or there being issues in indonesia, who I mention becase they have the largest muslim population in the world, and are quite moderate by all accounts

and as i've said many times before, i've worked with plenty over the years, and not one would be described as incompatible

BUT

i see the isuses occuring, i can see why they are of concern, i don't know how to make the issues go away

but islam is here to stay like all the other relgisions, it's not going away, and we need migration, and plenty of them will be muslim

no political party here or across europe will be getting rid of extermist elements in a hurry, or keeping the locals happy about the incomings

dunno really where to go with it miself

Spot on / great post.  Like it or lump it we live in a multicultural society…..and that’s never going to change (thankfully). Surely therefore it’s all about living together based on common values and UK law. The only group of people who need to be “demonised” are criminals - of any colour, religion etc. Full force of the law on these please with no mercy.

Certain political parties/leaders are trying to sow divisions for their own gain by blaming and pitting communities against each other to fracture society. We see the results of this on the streets already with daily/weekly protests by one group against another. This doesn’t solve anything - just look at the US.

The problem is the more moderate parties are lacking strong leadership to provide this positive vision and earn the trust again of those folks who understandably are either scared or disenfranchised with the current state of affairs. The clock is ticking.

The growth and spread of Islam is disproportionate to the rest, that was my point.
