There have been cases of far right thuggery in the news recently and not millions of posts about it on here.

You’re making something out of nothing.

The Far Right love acting the victim.

More than 3 years from the next election, the country is in a state and the press are leading with the passibility that Farage might have said something racist 40 years ago 🤦🏻🤦🏻

It is incredibly pathetic but Joe Public will see right through that (apart from the ones with red tinged specs that is).

Do you think there is a cut off then before which racist (or other discriminatory/offensive language) doesn’t count? Where would you draw the line if 40 years is too far in the past. 20 years, 2 years, 2 weeks, 2 minutes? I presume there’s a threshold you’d be happy with. Ta.

Just before the slave trade began I assume would be your red line in the sand?

Farage is, was and always will be a wrong un.

He’ll get what’s coming his way before the next election, I’m convinced of that.

Money laundering/ Russian ties, etc, etc. Someone is sitting on it to cause maximum damage at the optimum time, I’m sure of that.

It's the hope that kills you Mickey baby.

Americans don’t seem care about having criminals/rapists in charge.

I’d like to think we’re different.

Deep down, you know that it is coming don't you?

This latest BS will be forgotten about in a fortneet after it has strengthened the resolve of those intending to vote for him and more than likely recruited a good few more.

The left will never learn even in the light of three cataclysmic results over the last decade or so.

Keep up the good work.

Tell me where I've defended him. Go on.

He's in cloud cuckoo land that daft cunt.

'Most'. Really? He and a few others are in for a hard landing in the not too distant future.

If that is true then god help us. We are truly screwed as a nation if more people choose to vote for someone because they had been openly racist in their past (however long ago). RIP UK.

 Stay away from owt sharp FFS.

Are you having a day off from melting down about The Don?

This is a storm in a teacup. Was common knowledge and his devotees probably have very similar views.

It’s his financial affairs that will do for him. It’s a matter of time. It’s just when folk sitting on it choose to pull the trigger. He’s done.

It's the OBR report, that's leaked, rather than the budget isn't it?

.....which of course must contain some details of the budget.

What difference will 30 minutes make?

In reality none, but it's not a good look that I can read about it in the Daily Mail now, before she actually delivers it officially to Parliament.

Anyway, the good news is that scutter families who pump out kids for fun, will be far better off (up to £14K per year, fi they have 6 kids or more)

Capping salary sacrifice (for pension contributions) to just £2K per year will be a right kick in the balls for many though

Bit of a nothingburger in the end.

Something positive for everyone, something negative for everyone.

Think we know who on here will fall into which category.

Lovely

Quote

The chancellor says the government has managed to chase down almost £400m from "dodgy pandemic spending and contracts".

Reeves dubs these "Tory contracts, handed out to Tory peers and agreed by Tory ministers".

Her words trigger a rumble of jeers and shouts - and another intervention by the deputy speaker.
