Wanderers 3-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Featured Replies

League Cup 2nd Round at the Macron.

Presumably Tuesday 22nd August (8pm) rather than playing Wednesday-Friday with Hull away the same week.

Sheffield Wednesday 3

Through on pens

Cash turnstiles, very few tickets sold. There seems very little interest in this.

Sheffield sold 2100 plus pay on door, good chance of being 50-50

You think we will only have 2k on? Would think way more than that on.

I'll decide tomorrow. £15 seems steep to watch us put a half arsed team out.

i think they will fetch short of 3k so going for a 6k crowd

That's some support. Fair dos to them

There will be 28,000 there, trust me, especially after the weekends performance.

Fans can't wait.

No interest whatsoever

I've not got huge interest in this but will be there anyway. I've a feeling PP will go back to a 4-4-2 to see how it works. Can't see too many of Saturdays team starting. Would like to see Buckley get a good run out and hopefully see Earing and the Everton lad too, see how they shape up

Jack Earing?

He'd have linked up well with Necklace Anelka...

Is there much benefit on trying a new formation with a set of players who aren't the first team?

Suppose some of the players who are currently in the first team would lose their places in a different formation. And it might be difficult to shoe horn an entirely different set of players into the current system.

Stuck £20 on us to qualify at 6/5. Not that I think we'll win, but it'll cover ticket and travel for the next round if it happens.

Carrs Pasties sold out by 7.05pm

For me, its more about convincing PP 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 is more the way to go especially at home. 3 at the back with 2 wing backs has come unstuck repeatedly at home so give something else a go.

I was half tempted to go but you've just reminded me of the chance of extra time. Iamout!

If it was being played in my back garden I'd close the curtains.
