Decent performance up until 3-0 up when we started defending poorly. Derik had his best game by a mile for us.Dervite was quality. It took 45 minutes to see that Robinson is easily a better option than Taylor for left wing back.

No, not at all. Did nowt wrong, just didn't offer the same outlet that Buckley had.

Fun game that. Would like to see Little and Buckley start the next game which probably would need a 451 so no place for Alf or Armstrong.

 

Armstrong seemed to some real pace tonight which I hadn't noticed before.

Fourth time I've seen Little and that was his best performance by far. Wouldn't be in ahead of Morais for me though and not convinced he's good enough defensively to play in a back four.

 

Buckley was excellent tonight though and played well at Crewe so is certainly worth a shout. Same applies for Armstrong. Both offer genuine pace and creativity which is pretty rare in the rest of the team.
