  • Just to update, just got out of theatre in Wythenshawe following insertion of two stents. Thanks all for the good wishes.

  • Never had flu because it's a made up affliction.   You shower of queers.

  • Had the jab a few years ago when work were sending folk for it free of charge. Maybe a coincidence but I seemed to pick up more colds that winter than I've ever done in my life. Never bothered with it

No asthma, it started with an upper tooth that was bad it had 2 out of the 3 roots infected and it spread to my sinus cavity, loads of mucus was trapped in there and I had an operation 2 weeks ago, I just hope this operation works, coz its been horrendous.

I'm currently experiencing what I believe to be my first abscess on a molar... Think I'll get in checked out after reading this. Reckon I'm looking at a few extractions though

Mine was a upper molar too, my dentist didn't want to take the tooth out and she refered me to a specialist dentist to take it out. Got to be honest with you, I thought it was going to be a 5 minute job, must have been sat in that chair for a good 40 minutes or so, it wasn't a great experience, but so glad that tooth is out now.

Wow. Last time I had a tooth out, it was a premolar- the dentist seemed to be swinging on the pliers but in fairness he'd popped it out in no time.

Forty minutes sounds rough.

Add in MC1R gene and its horrible

Had a flu jab between Christmas and New Year and last few days I've felt bloody terrible; tight chest was a bit scary. Woke up this morning (that was a bonus!) feeling loads better, but I wonder how bad these flu jabs make the average recipient feel.

We'll that was the calm before the storm. I'm currently in CDU awaiting tests for suspected heart attack.

Fucking bastard! I was supposed to be going to Cork on the piss first thing in the morning too.

If it’s any consolation Micky....a few years ago, I thought Mick aka Leigh White had suffered a heart attack whilst on a roof in Liverpool as he was spreadeagled on it....

All the best MD.

If its any consolation, my neighbour suffered two a couple of days apart a few months back. Like you was unaware it was anything that serious, but the care he's received has been bloody fantastic. He's now running up his ladder again doing his Christmas lights.

Let's hope tests prove negative, but either way you're in good hands.

Just had an update:

Consultant had been and confirmed a mild heart attack. Got to stay in for four days for an echocardiogram and angiogram. The angiogram needs to be done in either wythenshawe or Manchester royal.

Bugger!

Many thanks for the good wishes.

Thank God I'm not a celebrity, if hate to see

Bloody hell. Hope you’re on the road to recovery soon.

Best of luck, take it easy.

A Wanderers relegation struggle is not ideal.

Nor id's just being told not to bother going to Brentford. Train ticket and match ticket bought.

sure some kind soul will cross your palm
