It’s not stealing when it’s your business, it’s possible he could trouser it and the club see no benefit.

Business simply doesn't work that way.

All the money will have to go through the books for tax purposes, so Mr Anderson (or anyone else) could not trouser the money without it being known.

Depending which business exactly owns the venues (I assume it is BWFC Athletic Co, rather than Burnden Leisure?), as the monies would be shown going into the accounts for that particular financial year.  If it is the club account then he certainly could not 'pocket' the money if it meant the club is trading whilst it is insolvent - he could be put in jail if that was to happen!  In fact it looks quiet the opposite if he is having to fund the trading shortfall by an estimated £6 million from his own funds as he staes.

So no, he's not pocketing the money and yes he would be stealing if the club folded because he had knowingly drawn out money when he knew the club could not pay its way (insolvent).

Anyway whilst I'm on, any news of the ST's AGM for 2017?  They've only got just over a week to be holding it if they haven't done so already!

Also who is the new Chairman now?

Thanks

Read KA statement hes just being honest and he talks sense why let PP have more players if we have plenty of other players not getting a game why bring in others just to sit on the bench. Look at Cullen karacan dervite. For me I think this is a warning to PP sort it or you are out!

What happened with the oystons at Blackpool then?

Seems to be that they’ve only got caught out because there was another major shareholder who wasn’t included in the cash going out of the club.

If Ken was going to screw us over and rinse the club he'd have done it already.

We sold clough and bought Alf and morias.

Then some more in the summer. After promotion.

They took money - alledgedley - out of profits the club made - which is legal

If Ken takes money out of a business losing money - thats illegal

Big difference

It depends how he takes it out there’s many ways it can be done legally. Ken will be well aware of loopholes and how to duck and diving. Edited by Mounts Kipper

Against the law if funds taken as dividends as a shareholder yes. As salary as a director no

That’s referring to dividend payments I assume?

He could do it in other ways

Not that for one second I think he is mind

Dividends or Directors Loans, which he cant do if BWFC are insolvent (and go bust) - If he does he runs the risk of being disqualified as a director

He could increase his salary, but assume hes a high rate taxpayer so would get slammed for tax

which makes me wonder if he's as savvy as some folk seem to make on

Suppose we will only find out when accounts are published. A bad set of accounts ain’t going to help him sell the club though.

I’m aware of the way it works ????

Strictly speaking If he’s already a high rate tax payer then “he wouldn’t” but the club would. He’d pay the same rate as he always had. I know the club’s money is like his but if he’s in it for the wrong reasons and it’s a tactical way of getting money out he could. And he’d not be the first to do it that way.

He could also through other business transactions

However, like I said above, I don’t tnibk it’s likely; he wants to make his money with a sale, the things above wouldn’t help the books

It's the way I read it, however, I don't see his statement as a warning to Parky as such. I'm sure that he's already had that conversation with him. It's just Ken being open as usual and folks will read his statements in different ways

I agree, think one that thing Ken has is good old common sense, excepting his crowd pleas.

Even his crowd pleas are common sense, he’s just pissing in the wind (unless we’ve something to play for at the back end of the season).
