We're not relegated if we don't win. We won't have lost all hope if we don't win. So it's not "must win ".   Winning would be a huge boost to us, especially with the 3 tough games coming after, bu

Shame the other one was looking at the half way line

  • I think we are better than 3 others. That will do me and most of us come the end of the season.

Totally agree with most people on here left the ground yesterday resigned th the fact we will be relegated PP out of his depth as a manager at this level boring tactics shit substitutions as for KA get real a will never attract anymore support playing that turgid dire long bsll crap. Also who would want to sign for us in the transfer window?

We lost some awful games last season where we just didnt turn up on the day

Its ONE game and although it seems we were fucking terrible before yesterday there has been a lot of improvement

A couple of decent signings and a good run early 2018 and we will get out of this

Cardiff next and they are shit so we will smash them  :dribble:

As bad as we were I’m taking yesterday as a blip but by god if Parky does not pull his finger out he’s going to have to be jettisoned but all isn’t lost yet and it depends on what we do in the transfer window.

the only thing keeping me slightly optimistic is that it’s tight as hell down there although we need another team in the mix as Sunderland will pull away

But with us relying so much on home form it kind of throws it back

Got the goal sat back and waisted time - we should learn from that.

Aye, no complaints, we've done it many times over the years, but it's a problem that the next 3 games are so difficult that it's going to get worse before there's much hope of it getting better.

Anyway, should Alnwick have saved it ? it looked like it but it's hard to be sure from the other end,

And Robinson.....he was so poor that it shows how much help Armstrong was giving him. Buckley may be better on the ball but Armstrong probably contributes more to the team.

You think you’ve had a bad day it’s foggy freezing I’ve spent the night in Bolton town centre and bumped into the WW gay boys outing soon put them right and waved my imaginary blue passport at them while singing blue is the colour much to their disgust, joking apart good to see Traf, Bi E, the Parr twins and the legend that is Tomski. ????

I'm still laughing at your blue passport now mate. Good to see you.

're the game. Madines free kicks summed it up for me. Why on earth was he allowed to take the second one?

Not on his own by a long stretch but I find his falling over embarrassing, on the other hand and a bit more controversial I thought Darby played well

Madine is very consistent in falling over and not getting anything, he’s a fucking tool.

He was allowed to take that second free kick because it shows how fucking clueless we are and don’t have a plan b. The two kicks were on the same place and was that really our best option? It didn’t even look like working the first time, never mind the second.

He struggles getting anything on target much closer to the goal, what on earth possessed him to think he’d trouble the keeper 30/35 yards out?

That yesterday was fucking dire and as someone else has said the feelgood has gone.

Madine was far from the problem yesterday. Those 2 free kicks aside I thought I'd was the best of a bad bunch yesterday.

Vela and Buckley did nowt of note all game.

Robinson had a shocker. But wasn't help by being the only player on the left after Buckley had wandered off to the right again.

Passing round and round then ending up back with Alnwick as no one capable of getting behind the wall of Burton players.

So punt up to Madine who then had no fucker getting close to him for the 2nd ball.

Was crying out for ALF or Armstrong but their illness/ injury meant they were unavailable.

Shocking all round, and the fact it's a game against a relegation rival made it worse

See I thought Vela was our best player yesterday.

That said, I thought it was 1-1 for quite a long time, so my opinion probably isn’t worth much.

While Madine might not have been the biggest of our problems, right now we need answers - and he is all too rarely the answer.

Granted, we were without Armstrong and ALF yesterday but with the players we have out wide and with Henry and Pratley as an insurance in the middle, I’m convinced we could get miles more hard and low crosses in which ALF or Armstrong would make plenty of.

If Parky honestly believes Madine is the man to fire us to safety, then his job will become less secure virtually every week

Parky suits the squad and budget we have for that reason I’d be sticking with him. Get someone in trying to play Alf and knock it about we’ll get done 6 every week ....... pragmatism rules

I tend to agree

No reflection on le fondre but even when he was a success last time in this division we hardly won a game

But madine doesn't work either?

The problem is it can work but Parkinson did not have them fired up for a massive game

Even tho we lost at forest it was a decent performance and one we should of built on

All we needed was some of that passion they showed in recent games

Agree on that. They didn't look up for it at all. Was it a lack of respect for Burton?

who knows but there’s no excuse for not being fired up

Even though we rode our luck against Sheffield Wednesday, qpr and Norwich we dug in and at times played very good

Long ball finishes up being too often the default option when our defenders are so limited at bring the ball out and finding a man. Beevers is a steady defender but one of the worst passers I've ever seen. Didn't help Little not playing yesterday, was a big miss with his raiding forward and decent understanding with Ameobi. Darby looked lightweight and shit scared of having to do anything with the ball or venture beyond half way.

Other problem is two holding players at home, neither of whom seem capable of playing a forward pass, especially Pratley, who's crippling lack of confidence to do anything other turn round and go backwards was a real handicap.

Buckley did ok for an hour then faded out of game again, would sooner have Armstrong personally

Hmmm, all I would say is that we played the same way for the 94minutes, no change of tactic throughtout the whole game (even with the subs), that was the most disappointing thing about yesterday.

Agree on that. They didn't look up for it at all. Was it a lack of respect for Burton?

We looked ok first 10

I reckon a few thought it’d be an easy win

I've just about thawed out.

The concrete in that stadium has a heat capacity of a small planet; it sucks every bit of warmth out of you.

The game was shite, but still had enough chances to get something out of it. Final ball/finishing shite.

Control and passing shite. What do they do in training?

Send the buggers home and tell then to spend all week trotting around with a ball at their feet.

Robinson was poor yesterday, though he seems to want to pass it forward and get things going; our movement was generally dog wank.

Thought Madine was a bit mardy at times but he still won enough headers and chest downs but too infrequently was there anyone there to do anything with it

Robinson touched the ball more than anyone else yesterday.

Alnwick had more touches than Pratley.

Robinson touching the ball so much is part of the problem

He's much better without it and that's not a dig

He's similar to Gardner in that regard and he was superb at left back

Without little we lost so much on the right and the left didn't compensate

The big difference yesterday was that Burton were quite happy for us to have possession and it was up to us to break them down. The fact that we never looked likely was a bit predictable apart from the opening 10 and a little spell when Morais came on. Not enough quality or urgency.

Like others I wonder what we do in training. We had 4 or 5 freekicks in very decent positions and their keeper didn't have to save one.

I lost count of the number of times Vela was second to the ball

He’s similar to Bibi in zero regard

Robinson is fucking garbage with or without the ball
