Their keeper is awful

Its great having a footballer in your goal but primarily he's there to stop the ball going in

And he ain't good at that

Aye, thought I'd seen one of the best goals ever by ALF,

but having watched it back, think the keeper should have got a palm on it.

If anyone off here sits in the ESL around the halfway line and was in front of me berating Parky for the double sub, well done you dick.

Board goes up with Clough’s number on it... “you’re a fucking dickhead Parkinson, you’re fucking clueless, taking off your best player for a carthorse that scored once.”

Didn’t even stand up when we scored, dick.

Anyway...

Ref shite, been covered

Flum too complacent

Dervite’s been brilliant since coming back in

Little had an off day but was due one eventually

Sammy should’ve gone 15 minutes earlier

Very good result all things considered

After 15 minutes i feared the worst...Fulham played some very nice passing football, overplayed it sometimes & therefore didn't create that many chances, but Jesus wept, they were a set of shandy drinking, cheating jessies who seemed more interested in play acting than sealing the win that looked on the cards.

I'd give Henry MOM, & the biggest credit for turning it around by absolutely disrupting their play by one way or another & all the rest of our team followed his lead.

Top marks for our fans who got right behind the team again (the moaners & stayaways, please keep away, you aren't missed ), top marks to Parky again especially for the perfectly timed double substitution, & top marks to all these players who gave it everything.

Proud to be a Wanderer tonight...Hurrah.

If we keep playing this formation for rest of season we'll see more from Vela. Got involved with play more again today and had a good effort just over 2nd half. If we play the ball on the deck he can make more of a contribution than just running around closing folk down for 90 minutes.

Of the two wing backs, Robinson by far the better today, I'm Little's biggest fan but he had a mare today, particularly with the ball at his feet. Robinson did get ripped a couple of times first half but wasn't fazed, made sound decisions on the ball in risky situations, kept trying to drive us forward and gradually forced their speed machine further back into his own half.

Really enjoyed today, proper entertainment and feeling of pride in our team, manager and club at the end

One of those in NSL too. Moaning at Parky for the changes - clueless. Clough wasn't very good really. He needs games, but the same problem exists as last time he was here. Where do you play him? He's not really a number 10 or 9. ALF showed a bit of know how in holding it up. Though I do think he's an impact sub now for us. Though what an impact.

Very fair result. Would’ve been wounded to lose it. Two decent sides. Clough had some decent touches first half. Obviously short of match fitness.

Very happy with a point. This is a mid table team. Relegation really shouldn’t be a worry of ours. Just a shame that we had the start we had.

In the last 10 homes matches, we are ranked 4th in table.

If we didn’t start so poorly it would have been a really comfortable season.

QPR also a game to note next weekend, only 5 points away from them.

We are starting to bring other teams into the mix. Forest and Wednesday in free fall.

QPR are at Wolves next weekend.

Wednesday are at Derby, though that has been brought forward to  this Tuesday as Wednesday are in the Cup.

Home isn’t the problem, but yes very good in the form table

If John Mundy reported that, and Reading's old player Robin Friday was born a few decades later and played for Sheffield, but was out for their next game through injury.... then the headline could be "as John Mundy reports, Wednesday, missing Friday, will now play on Tuesday".

Or summat

According to wiki

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Sunday

Stephen Sunday plays for Real Salt Lake.

If John Mundy reported that, and Reading's old player Robin Friday was born a few decades later and played for Sheffield, but was out for their next game through injury but they had high hopes for their new signing from Real Salt Lake.... then the headline could be "as John Mundy reports, Wednesday, missing Friday, but now with new signing Sunday in midfield, with  will now play on Tuesday".

Clough needs games but he also needs to man up a bit and compete better. We saw little glimpses of it especially that tackle on the edge of their box in the first half.

Brilliant cameo from ALF. Apart from the goal the put himself in front of his defender, won headers and showed a real desire.

Only he could have scored that goal as someone else said and he caught their keeper out as I'm sure he didn't expect him to hit it.

Hope it does start happening for Zach soon, his bit of skill, burst of pace and shot keeper tipped over first half was superb but should have scored with the next chance and game was passing him by a bit when Parky changed it.

As has been said, Alf was more of a handful when he came on and the goal was just brilliant. Not bad if they do 90 mins between then, one way round or the other
