Messi himself might be the elephant in the room.

Argentina's lost no.1 goalkeeper Romero before the tournament and his replacements both make mistakes added with their woeful defending, it's no surprise, scraped through qualifying, scraped through the group. A belter of a game; sadly I nodded of for a while, missed the Argies' second, woke up when the commentator shouted then nodded again until half time. Only flaw with France for me was affording the Argies with a bit too much time and possession allowing them equaliser. Be interesting to see if someone can get at their defence a bit more; but overall I can see why I tipped them on the other thread.
