Stick him on gardening leave like they did with megson, I'd have David Lee over parky even though he's not got much experience. Anything is better than this shit

Fact is, no one knows how it will work out. Could be an inspired choice if we make a change or it couldn’t change at all.

But, i think we all now would prefer to twist than stick. If we do go down after changing then at least we gave it a go which we would probably all accept better than going with whimper which PP guarantees

That’s my thoughts no experience but it’s a change

we are simply losing fans under this man, we was lucky last time in league1 the fans remained home crowds was good, won’t be the case next time

Part of the problem is knowing who to blame. Everything about the club is shit at the moment.

1 win in 19 is beyond a joke, even Coyle & Freedman would win more than that. Parky is way out of his depth. We stayed up last season because he’s a league 1 manager who managed league 1 & 2 players.

This season is lurching from 1 disaster to another. Already 1 point worse off than last season but then we had a decent Christmas.

Just go Parky. You’re not wanted.

I really cannot understand the tolerance from the stands of PP.

Megson got dogs abuse for far far less.

Its an apathy, almost an acceptance of the dire situation and that’s a concern. The fans are understandably tired and downtrodden.

There should be some kind of protest, but the best one is not to waste your time and money I guess.

It would be nice though to get our collective thoughts voiced and leave the hierarchy under no illusions, that we simply ain’t putting up with it any longer.

Easier said than done but this cannot continue.

The reason that the majority have not turned against PP is that they understand that he is in an impossible position of trying to keep a Division 1 standard squad in the Championship without having the money to buy better.

Correct. Alls we have heard since the beginning of the season is this squad is better than last. Which it is. Albeit granted only slightly.

To be 1 point worse off is the responsibility of 1 man only

Can we make it a rule on here that if you’re going to say Anderson needs to go ( he does), that you name a successor?

Name fucking names rather than just spouting off.

Until a buyer tips up, he’s all we’ve got. It’s shit, no one wants it ( even he’s said he wants out), but we’ve no other options.

So give us a name, or shut the fuck up.

what KA can do is get another manager. We’ve probably just got up the pennies for that.

I won't renew our season tickets next season if parkinson is still in charge, no matter what division we are in. The standard of football is just too bad, I don't like to see us lose but I can cope with it better if we at least have a go. I think we will have more of a go if David Lee was in charge, it might not work but what we have now certainly isn't working. Please Ken pull the trigger

you have just broke your own rule? You said he needs to go but didn't name his successor!

is it time to shut the fuck up:D

Problem is we'd be paying PP, Lee would want an increase in his salary to match his new role and then find a replacement for Lee. All using money we don't have

I reckon Lee would be up for it on his current wage

Completely agree. I understand that we’ve got fuck all money but I’m now in the camp that it can’t get worse. I think it’s now 1 win in 19, I genuinely think I could manage the team to 1 win in 19 fucking games!

I can’t see how the players get up for playing this style of football, they must be as depressed as us lot watching it. The whole club from players to fans seem to just accept that we are probably going to lose every game we play. There’s a defeatist attitude and the manager is a major part of it, the players have lost before they walk on the pitch, never mind the chance of them pulling together when we go one nil down. Something has to change to break that apathy whilst we’re still in touching distance.

Im not a big fan of the idea of David Lee taking over but if the only alternative that we can genuinely afford is to promote from within then lets give him a go. Fuck it tell Kev Davies that we’ll pay him his expenses and he can have it for the rest of the season, at least there would be some excitement back in the fan base (don’t take that as me thinking it would actually work), but seriously there aren’t many situations at the moment that seem any worse than we’re in.

Great post Eddie. I really don't want a David Lee in charge but we are at the stage of needing change for change's sake.

The Andersons who I Don’t think we’re there yesterday got a bit of abuse from a vocal minority ( mainly young lads) whilst PP got another easy ride from the fans

Things won’t improve until we get rid of PP and the Andersons.

The andersons are the ones who can get rid of PP there isn’t really anyone else who can get rid of Ken so there’s a flaw in this demand.

From an owners perspective Ken is the only option, from a managers, PP isn’t

you may not like it but thems the facts

I don't think that many will bother going tbh

People at the match yesterday singing "we want our club back" - what the fucks that all about?

Can’t have a go at some fans protesting.

Our fans have been incredibly loyal and patient, despite our club being completely messed around, and slowly decimated again. In most other European leagues, our manager and chairmen would have been given FAR more abuse, than just a couple of youths with a smoke bomb. Maybe we do need to show more defiance against this abysmal excuse of a football club, which Ken has made it into, ie not paying wages etc.- embarrassing.

Ken and Parky, have been very lucky, that they know our fan base will tolerate our poor form, due to our financial issues, but the fact they are pretty much blaming everything on finances is pathetic. The fans can only tolerate so much.

In summary, the chairman has not been doing his job, which is to run a football club properly, and to find sufficient investment, despite 3 years, 1 promotion, and 2 seasons in the Championship. And also the manager, who is responsible for 1 win in 19 matches, which is abysmal. Both need to go, it’s time for Bolton Wanderers to be run, and treated as a proper football club again, and one that can compete at the level it’s at.

100% correct

May I remind everybody that before the Anderson's we had a club on the brink of a financial meltdown and an owner going on to write off more than two hundred million pounds of his personal wealth and managers of the ilk of Sammy Lee, Owen Coyle, Dougie Freedman and Neil Lennon (whose mistress was allegedly picking the team for some of our games!).

Do people really want to have a man sacked just two days before Christmas?

Do people truly think someone is just itching to take over the club a chuck in the odd £200,000,000 (two hundred million looks even more impressive in number form than written out as I would normally do!) of the own money - just for the hell of it?

Just 'dumping' what we've got for something else is not necessarily going to solve things.

There needs to be a plan and a longer term strategy involved.

The key players in forming this plan will revolve around Mr Anderson and the clubs major creditors.

I'm sure non of them want to lose their investment into the club, nor see it diminished by the club being relegated.

I'm also certain that there hasn't been a queue of wealthy potential buyers of the club being knocked back all the time by KA's allegedly 'unreasonable' demands (are people really that gullible to believe that there has been by something they've read on Facebook or twitter - I do despair sometimes).  I'm sure any serious purchaser of the club with proven funds would be able to come to some suitably mutual agreement to buy it - but the bottom line is simply we simply aren't a desirable club to buy right now (or in recent years) - and that's why we ended up with the likes of Holdsworth and Anderson instead of say the Saudi royal family when Eddie sold.

Maybe the lunatics should take over the asylum and oust KA and PP and replace them with the ST and Lennon's fancy piece picking the team instead?

Maybe everybody would be happy then?

Let's just accept that no matter how bad things are, it isn't us who will lose money if the club goes into Administration, it isn't us who people are clamouring for us to be sacked and it isn't us who would put their own money into the club right now (Anderson is shown as having a charge on the clubs assets - which means despite what anyone might think or say he has put money into the club and it is at risk if things go tits up) or even do a better job at picking the team than Lenny's knee trembler!

Merry Christmas everyone.

Can't keep blaming past for present.

The football is shocking. The opposition barely need a keeper.

I'm sure PP must have a reasonably sized garden. Give him a few months in it, and let an internal candidate havea go, even on a temporary basis until Ken can get the finance under better control.

Like above, there's no way I'm forking out for two season tickets next season if the same shower are managing coaching.

If that makes me a shit fan, so be it. It's mentally degrading watching well paid athletes continually failing to undertake the fundamentals.

Irrespective of the squad's quality, it's pp's squad and his responsibility.

I'm not arsed if we sack him two days before Christmas, the January sales or Valentine's day. PP is clearly not up to the job so should go. Whether finances dictate that that's another matter

Are we in much of a better position now than when KA came in? Yes overheads are lower but at what cost? The soul of the club is being systematically destroyed we’re 5000 season tickets holders not turning up for home games, we’ve fans deserting in droves, yes PP has part of the blame but Anderson has alianated and divided supporters.  I would prefer us to be a united community club with fans all pulling together than a divided club who are financial gamble for a cockney wide boy who’s trying to maximize his return. You’re continued defense of the Anderson’s is getting right up my nose and what makes it worse is your defending him while not having to watch and pay for the privilege.
