We will need some performances similar to that one v Villa last season but it's just not happening with this lot

Fuk me we were on fire first game of the season

Just back.......same as last week. not that bad in defence or midfield but hopeless in attack. Every time we got in decent attacking positions, someone would play an awful pass, an awful cross or an awful shot.

Buckley was as bad as last week & Ameobi was as bad as him - excelling himself by putting a free kick from a good position into the upper tier  - & Doidge was lightweight & ineffective.  O'Neil was the best forward which says it all, but I don't think any combination of our forward choices will score enough goals to keep us up.

I have well and truly given up all teams have to do is score first and it's game over he as to go but he won't what's the odds on us never winning a game for the rest of the season.
