  • Good. Better live than red.

.another game and no win. Shit cunts parky out

After making the trip from the snow the other side of Rochdale I wish I hadn't. With a bit more desire to make things happen we could have won that game. So many times the ball goes into the box and there's not enough White shirts in there and those that are there let things happen rather than shape them. No one was determined to get on the end of things.

Gary O'Neill at 35 was immense again and at least looks like he knows what he's doing.

What I didn't get about the Connell sub was that it didn't change anything bringing Pritchard on. This was a game we had to win so at that time it was calling for a change of shape or something different. Problem with PP is it's deja vue every game but he seems to expect different results.

And don’t give me that, oh who will replace him bollocks. Are you really telling me it could get worse than sitting in a an empty stadium, watching 30% possession at home and not managing more than 1 goal a game. Literally, the worst football on the planet.

I think the "Who will replace him?" point was being made about KA rather than PP. I don't think there'd be a shortage of out-of-work managers looking to resurrect a career...

I wouldn't be surprised if Owen Coyle was updating his CV as we discuss who we'd like to see in charge.

We weren't good tonight, I thought they played nearly all the football, but all the booing definitely didn't help in the minutes after he was subbed

Then we concede a penalty and it's cos Connell went off

Anyway, it's cowd and bedtime

Saying we conceded because Connell went off is no more mental than saying it was because the fans got upset at Parky. Worrying that the man himself is trying to make the latter point.

It was within 90 seconds and wasn't even a penalty, so had nothing to do with the sub either way.

Fans who watch historically bad football every week being annoyed at us taking off our one good footballer in a crucial game is not the problem.

Think I’m losing it, but I’ve just watched Parkys post match press conference, and he’s done it again.. he said “Readings got a very expensive squad”

DOES THAT MEAN WE SHOULD BE HAVING 30% possession at home!? They are 22nd in the league.

The man will blame anything for his failings.

Did the booing help

Yes or no will do

He said he was very impressed with the play in the second half. Pleased with what?

Parky makes Coyle look like a Scottish Guardiola.

Dont get me wrong, Coyle was bad, but at least we actually had some good times under him, and played football that made us look like 2011 Barcelona in comparison to Beevers-Parky Bolton era

Parky needs to go, the atmosphere is only going to get worse.

Donaldson is fucking wank, balls into the box and he doesn’t react.

Ameobi shinning the ball into touch.

Noone breaking free and then checking like a rabbit in the lights.

Its turning into a chore going to watch us chase the other team who use the ball.

Just watched the highlights and never a penalty.

For our goal it was only when we went behind that we actually loaded the box on any occasions and guess what we scored. Without the penalty it probably plays out a nil nil draw.

Coyle was ace until Holden was knacked. That season up until that point was right up there.

Then he went mental

Connell was great again but the crowd booing his substitution was a disgrace the lad was goosed,  but sick of PP same formation every week no matter who we play, again no creative midfielder, 1 up top and a bad one at that, utter dross, very lucky to get the point. Must have been 6000 on tops Anderson and PP killing BWFC.

You have obviously not been on when a real 6000 crowd were on!.....but good point about Connell he was tiring .

The main problem was our crossing which was dire even the lad Connell couldnt get his corners past the first defender. As for lucky to get a point I thought their goalie made three excellent saves & given all the negetivity about the place a point was deserved

Unfortunately we are imploding as a club & I cant do any more arguing in the pub after the game with folk who dont turn up (I know its their right)but they fuckin moan incessantly dont let stuff go but havent seen the fuckin game!

Of course it doesn't help.....but do you know what, sometimes the fucking pressure relief valve blows as it did tonight.

Parkinson has been very very lucky that all the off the field issues have covered up his record. He's had that coming and tonight he is reminding me of Freedman with his comments about being shocked by the fans reaction.....we're shocked at his complete incompetence. It isn't solely the fact He's brought the youngster off....its the fact that he continues his like for like substitutions expecting anything to change.

The argument about 'saving' the young lad from picking up an injury through fatigue would have more merit if he had taken the same action with other players throughout the last 3 seasons when they had also been blowing through their arses.....but he didn't.....and we have conceded more than our fair share of late goals due to his inability on these occasions to see what was glaringly obvious.

Anyway, everyone has their own opinion of Parkinson......truth is, the club is truly dying under his leadership......and that's backed up by all the relevant statistics.

Everyone saying it wasn't a penalty, but I had the same view as the referee and it looked stonewalled to me, would love to know what VAR would have made of it.

I was in line with it in WSL and it looked nailed on. Now seeing it on TV I'm less convinced.

Help what? A Reading player fell over unopposed in the box and the ref gave a penalty. Were they shaken by the stick Parky was getting?

I was right in line with it from ESU and as soon as he made the challenge everybody just gave a resigned FFS as it appeared nailed on. Those highlights give a false impression IMO

He seemed to sweep his foot. I'm just wondering why the fuck he got so far in before a challenge went in.

Haha, think he had three goes at him. He looked a good un early season, but he's come down to our level now.

Just got back home cold, tired ,weary of watching parkys anti football and about to open a bottle of rum.

Looked a stone wall penalty from my view but not seen it back yet. Looked no need to make the challenge either.

Another piss poor performance, it reeks of no confidence. Connell the only bright spot of an ever increasingly frustrating season.

Ameobi looks like he really can’t be arsed playing on the wing anymore. I’d play him up top instead of Donaldson who spends more time on his arse than Heskey did

Completely agree, he had that coming last night and about time. He blames everyone but himself now its the fans turn for creating a bad atmosphere. Have a look round parkinson there is hardly anyone left, why? because of your terrible football but their team cost millions so that's OK. If you don't like it then fuck off!!!

That is the final straw for me - Parky needs to go as well now.

We have put up with months of shite, he should have been put out of his misery at Burton last season.

Even if the young lad was struggling, he showed more quality and determination than anyone - and at worst case - rest him against Sheff Utd - where we haven't a prayer.

As has been said, Parky is very lucky with the situation - any other football league managers job with his record, he would have been potted.

I can't believe that Parky is saying he doesn't understand the fans reaction - he has got to consider himself fortunate, that it has taken this long for it to happen !!

Clear the decks, start blooding the youngsters and try and prepare for next season.

I am OUT for saturday !!

Rant over.

You might need to have a look at the highlights. He falls over his own feet.
