Escobarp Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Takeover not yet complete but a farewell from Kenneth right. There. Hes evidently I believe paid the wages after getting the necessary assurances re takeover which means that Howard’s proclamation that Basran didn’t have funds is incorrect would we suggest?

Leyther_Matt Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 It’s a bloody long goodbye, all the same. Will be glad when it’s all over (until we’re in the same boat in a couple of years).
Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Kinell, did sluffy write that. A full on essay and can't be arsed. Tatty by tank top.
Wanderlust Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 A lovely note which he clearly didn't knock up in the last 10 minutes, but at least it sounds final. Whether or not he is leaving the club in a better position than when he came will probably come to light in the near future, but for better or for worse, it looks like he's finally on the way out.

I’ve long suggested that funds were in place to buy Ken out, I have questioned what exists beyond that.

TrickyTrotter Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Sounds to me as if deal done , but awaiting EFL approval - they won't want to appear as if the fit and proper person test can be met in five minutes.
Biggish Dave Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 At least even if funds are not high with new owners, surely they wouldn't be as arsey as Ken when it comes to selling out
Wanderlust Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) Wondering if the new owners will go for an early accounts filing so we can see what's actually happened over the last couple of years? No evidence of them having much money, but a bit more business nous and a lot less self-congratulatory claptrap wouldn't go amiss. Edited March 12, 2019 by Hoppy510

Only one year to disclose and we already know pretty well what to expect. £1million interest credit, small profit, real debts about the same as 2017 and a consultancy fee to Ken and son as a reward for getting a small fortune for Gaz M, showing an actual profit for the first time in yonks and maintaining Championship status. Last opportunity for Snidey Iles and his BN acolytes to have their final whinge? Edited March 12, 2019 by Chris Custodiet

Roger_Dubuis Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Kenneth is very chirpy, a sure sign he has made himself a few quid
