F1 is back

Looking forward to this season

Changes to the front wing supposed to mean more overtaking - lets see

Tyre compounds simplified

Just sat down to watch recording of qualifying. Be interesting to see if Hamilton still dominant but Red Bull the big curiosity for me this year. Will they move forward or slip back into the pack?

That's an even more impressive win then. The other fellas all had cars.

I think over time he's earned most of that luck. He earned his place in the best car by excelling in lesser ones. He gambled on Mercedes when they weren't the finished article. Today with pole he mayb

Nah that’s the first one overtaking the SC

At the time of posting the bbc radio woman, had said the first one was dismissed but she was "hearing" that the second one would be too and Max was the winner. Seems her information was in there know. Not a surprise though, and it's easier for them to do it this way.

Now kts down to Merc to go to court, which, of they won, would make them look the cunts rather than the FIA.

Soft arse, face saving nobbers.

Get them both back out. New tyres, a gallon of petrol and a head-to-head. The person driving furthest wins.

See, we can all make rules up as we go.

Merc Appeal.

I’d get them down to the go kart track in Manchester.

5 laps each in the same kart. Fastest time wins.

A proper fair test.

They’ve made a right pigs ear of this

Shite them tracks, too tight.

They should have a shootout on the same track tonight, 5 laps on the soft, 7 on the medium and 11 on the hard. Throw a dice who gets pick because they can't start on the same tyre but all compounds must be used.

Would be ace.

Maybe Horner was right…

About what?

It’s been years since I watched much F1 but I thought I would give it a go today. Genuinely didn’t mind who won. But after that shit show I am out.

The race itself was decent, and apart from the early passing attempt from max, free from much racing incident.

The FIA that fucked it up as a spectacle.

Horner been moaning all season about the FIA. Then today he trusts them.

He said at the Saudi Grand Prix that they were missing Charlie Whiting and a few people said it was sour grapes at decisions not going Red Bull’s way.

Ah OK. Missed that.

Well that’s bullshit anyway imo. If Charlie had been around Max would have been disciplined a lot earlier this season or at least warned to reign it in

Mercedes pulling out of their appeal

Paid off?

After re-reading it it seems that they are pulling out of appealing the result but still appealing the FIA’s conduct. Could all be bullshit because I don’t know what rag is credible and I’d imagine that Toto is still nursing a biblical hangover

I will say that Lewis has behaved like a real pro.

He was fully entitled to windmill his way through the entire paddock and then shit all over the FIA offices.

Max would have.

Fair play to him.

He’s very humble

So why can it be so many don't like him?

Think Max probably deserved it over the season …. the fish faced cunt

He’s a bit Bono at times.

And successful British sportsmen tend to end up being treated like they don’t deserve it. Not just the darkies neither, Andy Murray seems to generate similar levels of distaste because of his dour personality and poor lift etiquette.

We can be a weird bunch.

Jenson Button, Nigel Mansell, Jackie Stewart, all adored, all British and Lewis has won more than all of them combined and still gets stick.

He just needs a massive moustache then.

Cant believe he didn’t figure it out sooner the silly bollocks
