April 13, 20197 yr You can’t play the fat lady cause what would that do to her confidence? You can’t play kids and get battered! They’ll be scarred forever. FFS. Get em in the fucking team

April 13, 20197 yr I actually think we'll finish bottom, wouldn't be surprised to see Ipswich finish above us at the end of the season.

How long is this going to go on though, I’ve been hearing the same comment for the past 7 seasons at least. We are cursed I tell you

Doesn’t matter what your wage is, you live accordingly and it’s fucking criminal that there’s still no assurance they’ll get their money its a short career being a footballer, every penny counts. for me, they’re at least turning up. This is not their fault. As PFA members they know they’re sorted for their money. Footballers might be a lot of things, but they certainly look after their own in this kind of scenario. The difference is merely whether the PFA pay them directly or whether it comes via the club as previously. I’d expect 100% effort from lads playing for petrol money in the North West Counties so there’s no reason why we should accept any different from full-time professional players - players who should be playing for their own futures at the very least, not to mention the folk who are forking out to watch them.

April 13, 20197 yr I'd put Earing and Hall in for the next game. At least they can run. And Earing can put a tackle in.

April 13, 20197 yr Surely there's a good argument to say that the kids will get nothing positive from playing these last few games and so the players responsible for us being where we are should have to go through it.
April 13, 20197 yr Parkinson's tactics have been baffling all season. Giving the oppostion the ball from the kick off and allowing them to play while we just back off with no out ball only results in them scoring. But Parkinson doesn't get it. He seems to think that's a way to win a game. Edited April 13, 20197 yr by waffer cup 07

Wages or no wages - that's inexcusable. Sweeping statement that. We won at QPR even though we had given up? Matthews has given up? Buckley has got worse? Connell has given up? Wheater? McGennis was better than this month? I just don't see it.

Don't throw the bathwater out with the baby. I don't recall Alnwick, Wheater, Beevers, Ameobi, Vela having a losing mentality (whatever their limitations) in div 1 last time. Matthews, Connell, Oztumer are quality. Good luck getting 8 better players to play for us.
April 13, 20197 yr Connell cost two goals today. He may be young and a bit of a spark, but he still is not up to the job. Oztumer is as shit as the rest of them. Matthews?? Are you taking the piss?

If everyone knew he was a cunt who might well fuck us over... why has anyone who's pointed that out come in for 10x the stick Ken has on here over the past couple of years? Holdsworth, Moxey, Vince, Heathcote, Iles, the ST, McGinlay, fans protesting/chanting all took plenty of shit off people who claim to have never backed Ken, but have continually given him the benefit of the doubt at every opportunity.
