April 5Apr 5 Can't cope with being off work, so started some gardening. No rubbish left in garden, greenhouse has gone, flowerbeds and built a decking foundation, and block paved a huge section. Managed it without spending to.. although it's going to cost for the wood. All done to a terrible standard btw, but it's kept my head busy.

I am not over thinking it but it is there, strange thoughts ! * suddenly - really means gradually over last 20 years or so 😂I’m in similar position… hardly anyone left on my side of the family other than Brother & Sister, if I’m not keeping busy ruminating thoughts occur, I’m still working so that sort of helps take mind of stuff… this morning cooked the family breakfast, washed pots, then started thinking, so thought fuck that get to the gym… keeping busy helps me.
June 13Jun 13 Doesn’t help with people having a dig on here about people’s age. It’s the last prejudice to be confronted. I stay here for that very reason. 😉

June 19Jun 19 I’ve never been sure of my age. It’s not mattered much for ages so it’s always been am I either/or. However Mrs Fogarty confirms I’m 72 in a few weeks. Middle of July ish.I’m posting this at 5:10 am. I’m awake most of the night up and down for a slash and a brew but this 5am brew seems to knock me out for a few hours.

I can’t risk it. You only get one chance to not balls it up.

June 19Jun 19 Popular Post My condition has worsened over the past 18 months, I now cannot walk and have lost the use of my right arm and hand, no more bird houses to be made, in constant pain and I know depression is creeping in, I am at Salford Royal for 2 days a month for a 4 hour infusion, this is for the foreseeable future. Same as others I have a very large drink (Vodka and lemonade) every night which means I get about 4 -5 hours sleep. I have had adaptations made in the house which again is depressing, (the grandkids love the stairlift), my only pleasure now is Monday Club (pitch and toss night) and Thursday club when we put the world to rights, 3 pints is my limit because there is no disabled toilet in my local. I keep my season ticket but this coming season I have to go pitchside because I cannot get up the few steps to where my daughter and kids sit, I have had to stop going away matches as I hate being a burden to anyone. i will talk to someone eventually, just not ready yet.
June 19Jun 19 Author Sorry to hear that. Take it at your own pace. You always come across as a sensible bloke so I’m sure that you’ll reach out when ready. All the best
June 19Jun 19 Christ , that’s a hard read. Only thing as a stranger can say is don’t be afraid of the stigma of the illegal drugs. Couple of good friends got through some serious issues with CBD and micro dosing mushrooms.

You’ve been unbelievably strong with your illness… speak to your doctor if you’re feeling low. One of my favourite photos and the only night I had on the piss with you. (I’ve never been same since :)Take care pal. 👌 Edited June 19Jun 19 by Mounts Kipper
June 19Jun 19 Sorry to hear about your struggles athy, but I do advise you speak with your family and also professionals about how you are feeling, it can and will get better pal.

I’m sure you’re not a burden to anyone except in your head. I’d say talk to someone while it’s still your choice.I met you once by accident one night match at Colls. I was talking to a mate and WWays came up and someone asked if I knew AthyWhite, that’s him there so I introduced myself . Look after yourself.
