Given all that David Rubin and Co have done for ( and charged ) Bolton and Blackpool over the last few months , I reckon they should at the very least  sponsor the match ball

Wife may know of one, but it will be from around 20+ years ago, so might not be accurate! I'll ask later, when she's home.

FFS, fly out to Majorca that morning, deliberately arranged around the fixtures!

I'm not sure it is great for money in League 1.

Monday night is a ridiculous time for football & will hit the attendance massively.

 Just Fook off Sky!

Might have got a good crowd if it was on Saturday!! Thought being in league one shit like this wouldn't happen ah well more money for the club ££

This is the fixture (plus the away game) that I least could stomach a loss this season. Can't stand these lot.

reckon they've give us this because the bury one is off?

For match goers it’s shite. The end

Exactly my thought process when booking our holiday! Just checked with RyanAir about changing our flights and it would cost £450. Only paid £216 in the first place! Getting leathered in a bar and watching on telly it is.

Not checked but have any other L1 (or Salford) games been moved for TV today? Might be a way to replace the Bury game.

It is shit for those wanting to go though, rules me out.

£30k for us and £10k for Blackpool.

We'll lose money on it.

Exactly, 30k is only 1,500 supporters at £20. Easily lose that in away fans let alone home fans, ridiculous financially.

Got to factor in what we receive in terms of the TV deal as a whole though, some of which is essentially covering the risk of games being moved.

Can't remember if it was the current Leeds owner or a previous one but he was banging on that every time they were on sky they lose money

Given how much sky like to show them over a course of a season it must add up

Valid point, how much is that though? Anyone know?

Blackpool at home is probably one of the highest gate receipt money spinners for us I'd have thought, moving it for Sky wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been a Monday night! Not to mention how many Season ticket holders with young children won't be able to attend, North stand will look potentially as barren as it did Saturday!

£732,000 last season.

I had the Saturday fixture planned as a day out via train and a few beers. Now it’s either a 90 minute drive after work and home around 11.30pm or stay at home and watch it on the telly.

Can we say no to Sky?

I thought it was over £2m in League 1, some of that might be PL solidarity payment mind

Isn’t it good that we’re back to squabbling about Match fees?

Grinned all the way through this thread 😁
