Some that shut up shop here have lost business to China now that they'll probably never get back, and they'll admit they jumped the gun and went down the Furlough route much too quickly A company I know very well have proper milked it, they furloughed 50% of their staff, and their business levels didn't really drop, they just worked those in the office to the bone. They also had staff in working who were supposed to be on furlough.......apparently they've had a few phone calls since, and think that somebody has grassed them up, which I hope they have. They also took advantage of getting a huge loan at really good rates, to pay off their overdraft and get up to date with outstanding invoices.
