Some complete idiot at work has just come back from a skiing trip in Italy and decided that it was a good idea to come into the office - ignoring clear instruction from the business to work from home if you have been to an effected area 

His position isn’t critical by a long shot (Nobody’s is at our place to be fair), he could just as easily work from home

Imagine if this twats spread a virus for no other reason than he wanted to be a hero coming into the office!

Is it over reaction or just a bit of common sense?

Just asking the chap to stay away as a precaution.

A large petrochemical company in London has done something similar.

One thing is for sure; even a relatively small number of cases would soon cause the hospital's a right head ache.

Reports tonight of trolley delays etc. Having an influx of new patients needing quarantine would be a right strain.

Just stay at home and work from there, no harm done either way then, literally no downside to him staying at home
