That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

  • My uncle lost his battle to this in Royal Bolton this morning, so he will be one of today’s numbers.  last rites over the phone held by a nurse with no family there. made an exception yester

BBC just had a really uplifting interview with a bloke who's just left hospital after 12 days. He was just delighted to be alive!

My Mrs keeps sobbing at the videos of the elderly beating it and leaving hospital. I seem to get a bit of dust in my eye

Fucking imbeciles. We'll see more of this downplaying as the number gets larger.

Initially the said "it's just flu"

Now because that argument is losing credibility, they've switched to "it's not showing in the ONS statistics"

What I have noted is that not many of the deniers are prepared to put a number on how many will die, they won't commit, but are eager to jump on anyone that does.

The deniers seem very keen at the mo to tell everyone that the average number of deaths from every cause is actually down and the whole thing is quite obviously a total fraud.

Im just waiting for the moment she turns off the Tv and the chat about another sprog. It is nigh.

11 weeks of proper lockdown.

We've had 2 weeks of people making their own decisions, we're miles behind.

Be careful who you are calling an imbecile please Peelyfeet. There was a protected poster on here who claimed it was pretty much a common cold so please be mindful of this before the board gets upset at you for highlighting an untruth

haha, I think everyone on here underestimated it to a certain extent beforehand, and have all changed their view,  so I'll call that the effects a positive outlook.

yet oddly we have nearly twice as many deaths

looking at the numbers, S America and Africa seem to be "getting away with it" so far

and I'm surprised Thailand is so  low given that's where most Chinese apparently went for New Year

Wahay, the chuckle brothers are back in town. 😀

Bent figures China

We'll never know the true numbers, especially from some of the less developed parts of the world.

Wuhan having a party to celebrate. Tempting fate a bit

Sadiq Khan has just said that the NHS are expecting the peak of this to be in a couple of weeks, previously we had been told it would be over the Easter weekend.A Tory minister has pretty much guaranteed the lockdown will be extended from next Monday and i would think it will be extended again if the peak is around 23 April

Over at Old Trafford, Man Utd were due to resume training next week but those plans were cancelled yesterday indefinitely.I don't think they are planning to resume training while the country is in lockdown. They have also stated that if the season is voided or played behind closed doors all ticket holders will be refunded their money.
