I suppose London and the Midlands have a much higher share of the covid cases and likewise an above average number of non-white residents, so it would stand to reason that they might be more vulnerable to catching the virus. Doesn’t address the likelihood of a greater number of fatalities though.

Could be but seems a very high percentage of African Americans have died of covid-19. I think one city quoted on the news had a black population of about 20% but blacks accounted for around 70% deaths.
