Very famous pub that and a haunt of many a celebrity. Great pint of Guinness in there. What I would give for a pint of Guinness right now!!

Is that the one opposite a hotel that's something like the most bombed building in the world?

If so, have been in

Yep. Opposite The Europa Hotel. Bit of a tourist trap but good place none the less

Favourite pub is The Duke of York near the Merchant Hotel

Found it by chance, doing a pub crawl round the city with the ex. Some brilliant bars in Belfast and great folk what made you welcome.

Very true but you’ve still got to keep your wits about you

Went to a really nice place down near the markets a while back. Atmosphere turned a bit moody after a short while and got that feeling that everyone was talking about us. Supped up and left sharpish when I noticed that a lot of the decor was green and orange. Similarly, took a wrong turn on a pub crawl and ended up in Sandy Row. No joke how many folk asked us the time. Even hate the Brits there

Best pint of Guinness imo is in the Circus Tavern in Portland Street. That tiny boozer almost next to the Old Monkey

Two problems though. With social distancing only about 8 people would be allowed in and it’s a hard core United/Irish Catholic pub. Prob not a good venue for the jolly boys

The Lower Turks Head on Shudehill used to do a decent pint. Also a good venue to meet up as it’s right by Victoria station for those travelling by tram or train

Probably the worst choice of any pub in Manchester. Suspect it would be well ventilated though with all the windows in 😁

For a shit “theme” pub I have to agree that it’s actually not a bad pint. So that’s The Turks and Waxys right close to each other at the off

Yeah it is shit, and it’s about as Irish as I’m a fuckin monk, but the Guinness is tip top. Shame it’s in the print works

Once wondered if it was possible to partake in every pub in England, and if so, how long it would take.

A life's challenge there.
