That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

Quarantine Rave aftermath looks like fucking Raikes Lane got turned upside down.

About a quarter of a mile away from me that. Thousands there and I never heard a thing. Fucking  disgusting what they did to the park.

Bright spot was that one of the volunteers found a set of car keys and was off to find the car so that it could be filled with rubbish

I would have a pint with Nigel before that claret twat Campbell.

I've listened to interviews with them both, and they've been ok.

There was a series where "opposing" folk met in a cafe.

Campbell and Ken Clarke met over chips etc- a really interesting watch

Saw a few videos from it and couldn't actually hear any music on, sound systems must have been shite.

I'm very aware of how old I feel and sound when I moan about stuff like this these days, I just see all that trash and the fucking Fiat 500 hordes there and just think you absolute twats.

The best ice cream I have ever had is from Orkney Ice Cream but they don't supply down here unfortunately.

Cream of Galloway is my preference

Boris saying "shop with confidence", what actually does that mean?, that the shops have done everything possible to open their stores safely or does a person walk into that store full of concfidence instead of being a nervous wreck, think i will go with the former.

He sounds like a spokesperson for Vogue.

He sure doesn't look like one.

Very true. Plus a bit Germolene, just to be safe.

Give the lad his dues, pretty sure i would be wailing in tears!! Soft bastard.

The bloke is surely in shock it's a fucking serious wound that

Lofthouse would have cauterised it with his Woodbine, had a big slug of scotch and been back on the pitch in 10 minutes

Aye, utter cunts. Plenty good people though who were out from 5am clearing up. Apparently they left the “sound system” as it blew so yeah it was shite. Same here about moaning. Feel my age but there’s some playing fields near here as well and groups of lads have been playing footy,  boozing and playing music for weeks. Few locals had a word with them and they’ve carried on but cut the music and take all their rubbish away in bin bags. Still not right but at least they are making an effort now

Must admit I'm more distressed about the amount of man bags on display.

Possibly bleeding out as well

Fair play to them, that shows a bit of respect.

When I first started reading your post I thought you'd be saying that the locals got told to fuck off, got twatted, and then used as goalposts....

Monday Mayhem, large queue's outside Primani. WTF!

Is Lockdown now over ?

Unfortunately no football and no pub as yet.

Small covid numbers yesterday, but aren't they always on a Sunday.

What time did you start queuing😀

Lockdown finished 2 weeks ago. It's all been a token gesture ever since.

The govt. want everything open as soon as possible.

On a related note, Prince Charles is opening a Nightingale hospital in Swansea today, one of our lads is there finishing installing our kit.

1,000 beds, and they are carrying on simply because the expectation is that all Nightingale hospitals will be busy before Christmas.

Herd immunity. In full swing as of 4th July

Finished on VE Day for most proles.

Yeah, but we will be able to have a pint and see some football.

It's time we just took our chances.

That's what they've decided to do in the USA.

I imagine we will now only lockdown again if the Nightingales are at capacity. Until then, the message will be that we're "coping".

With a bit of luck, the virus will have mutated into something less potent by autumn and be no more deadly than flu, numbers wise.

Apart from Brazil America is the last country we should be thinking of copying.

Didn't say it was right, just that we seem to be taking that approach.

Hospitals are very quiet, so if there is a rise in cases the NHS will be able to cope.

They're banking on masks, sunny weather and distancing to do the trick. It might, might not.

Knife edge stuff.

I work at a very large Hospital trust in Manchester and from today we now have to wear masks everywhere on the Hospital site which is ridiculous. It would have made sense to introduce this at the start of April when numbers of patients was rising rapidly. Patent number with Covid has reduced over the last few weeks but our Trust did have the highest number of positive patients in the NW by some distance.

Like most of the Government guidelines they also seem to be weeks and sometimes months behind when they should have been introduced.

East Lancs trust is the same, masks must be worn all the time from today. Seems 3 months late to me!

You did say ‘it is time we took our chances that is what they have done in America’

Which does sound like saying we should what America have done. In fact it does say that. 😁😁

I did. Because that’s what we’re doing.

Let’s be honest, 90% of folk have gone back to the way they were in January. Seeing mates, going here there and everywhere. That’s not just folk flouting the rules, that’s the rules being wishy washy bollocks.

All my elderly relatives are gone now anyway, and I’m happy to risk it, so get the fucking pubs open, send me a season ticket and it’ll be like this never happened.
