Why? That’s fucking  bollox. Open schools and if parents don’t feel it’s safe then fair enough.

Like I said, prove it’s safe to have loads of folk in close proximity. Get parliament full again. Set an example you absolute shower of shit. Won’t happen.

I was in theme parks, Aquairums, sea lion sanctuaries and another theme park last week. Jam packed with kids.

It’s ok though because someone wiped the rides down with a wet wipe after each go.

Its just an excuse to be an attention seeking cock jockey.

Might well be but no fucker has a right to force parents to send their kids in right now.

Surely not. Gavin has been nominated as MP of the year.

Do those Brits who believe it’s ok to sing an 18th Century song about never being enslaved, written when the UK was enslaving and killing millions of innocents, also believe it’s appropriate for neo-Nazis to shout, “We will never be forced into a gas chamber.”

Big fines mick big fines

can’t let parents decide that’s ludicrous

Fining parents for keeping kids off school, but Tory campaign manager can have thousands of pics of kids and get a slap on the wrist?

Get those MPs back in then we’ll chat.

Shhhhhh

If you keep your kids off school, when they’ve just had 6 months off, then I think a fine is definitely right.

“What if what if what if”

Fuck that. We have to take the plunge, with safety measures in place. People have been mixing for 3 months now and there’s been a few small outbreaks that have been easily contained.

Its not over, but the threat level is a world apart now.

It’s the top down orders that concern me. Get your over pampered arses back in before experimenting with our kids

Aye I know. Safe for them but not others? Set an example

Aye but to be fair Mick, half of them should still be fucking isolating.

I just wish this would just fuck off now, had enough. On the plus side though, our family have been selected for a Covid testing survey, we will be tested every week for Covid plus an antibody blood test every 3 or 4 weeks at 1st, then less regularly. We get a £25 voucher each for our troubles too.

I sent my child to school 3 months ago because I thought it was safe on balance of probabilities.

And things are in a much better state now than they were then.

I understand some teachers are nervous - but for once it's them that need educating. It's a bit like my Dad. He's been sheilding for 4 months and now he's petrified to step outside.

I don’t give a fuck about MP’s.

I give a fuck about my kids going backwards.

Mine will be going in,  I feel it’s safe enough for the younger ones.

Wife’s back in a week early to prepare for her secondary lot coming back in, some teachers at her gaff have had a moan about going in, funnily enough some of them who are moaning had holidays abroad too!

The only bugger is the daughter starts primary on the 7th and they’ve specified a one parent drop off only, despite them staggering reception starts over two weeks, there are only 10 of them starting on the first day of reception. Which for us isn't too much of an issue as we've already done the first day at school thing with the lad but for others parents it’s a big thing and a one off experience Coupled with the anxiety some parents must be feeling the school situation the school are being very stubborn but I fully understand the reasoning for it.

They need to be back in. Lads coped really well but you can see he is missing the social element massively.
