I buy it because I like it and I love the quality and know it will last for an age. Agree, I couldn't give a fuck how many scruffs are knocking about in copies. Same with any label thats copied. Its the rest of your attire that makes or breaks it anyway. You can spot a copy a mile off, not the piece itself, the cunt wearing it. So Stone Island coat with a River Island shirt and jeans combo isn’t a good look? Like mixing your islands. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Agreed. “Stone island” jacket and a pair of lonsdales or shite jeans etc and you know. I can spot snides a mile off and so can most lads that wear proper clobber. Happy with that. https://www.johnlewis.com/kin-wool-blend-funnel-neck-overcoat-navy/p5136868 I bought that same one in grey last year for a cheap(ish) work coat. I really like it 👍🏻 Doesn’t all have to be swanky brands
Traf
Fuck me, talk about judging books by their covers. You can spend a grand on a coat because it's got a badge on, but if you're a cunt, you're just being a cunt in an expensive coat.

You don't have to wear fake gear to look the part. Nor do you have to wear a £1k coat. But if your gonna wear a £1k coat, the rest will undoubtedly be of a similar standard or you wouldnt go to the trouble. I know (and so do you) plenty of cunts dripping in high end gear.
Site Supporter MickyD Posted November 16, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted November 16, 2020 I’m not convinced that 1k coat is better value than 10 x £100 coats.

I buy Adidas trainers, because they're wide enough and comfy enough. I wear Levis because they fit well I buy Perry/RL/Lyle & Scott tees and polos, because they come in fat boy sizes. Couldn't care less about clothes really, same as cars to me, they're just a means to an end.

Youri McAnespie
This should be 'girly clothing' thread? I sold all my clobber; Prada, Aquascutum, Fendi, Versace, D+G etc. Loads of adidas that I didn't dare wear outside to mooch about. Recouped most of my money. Looking back at photos - I looked a tosser. Apart from the trainers. I also wonder why so many blokes in £400+ jackets have 'casual' cut jeans on - where can you even buy 'em these days? I don't don Primark - but, Belstaff (Italian) aside, my clobber is good stuff but nowt that makes me a walking billboard.
