Escobarp Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Be funny when they have to give us 3 sides of LSV when we finally play them there IF they survive. Fucking sinking ship that. Back to the bottom you go. Quote

birch-chorley Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 (edited) How much cheaper would LSV be vs renting the DW off the Rugby team? Surely the Rugby team are offering broadly the same terms as they have had. Unless those terms were shite and that’s why they are looking elsewhere Edited September 8, 2020 by birch-chorley Quote
MickyD Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Sorry, I thought you meant the short version came before the long version Quote

Unless those terms were shite and that’s why they are looking elsewhere I suppose as it's a smaller stadoum the costs of operating it would be lower, and that could have an impact on the rental price? I still think it's just a negotiating tactic, though. Quote
Burndens Bogs Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 (edited) All this "Tics" bit gets on my tits, it's far too cute sounding for them scutters. "Leightics" i'm a tad happier with, from a piss taking point of view. Still prefer -"Pie eating cunts" though Edited September 8, 2020 by Burndens Bogs Quote
MickyD Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Were they landlord’s to the rugby club? Quote

Horwich Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 We should offer to host their games at the reebok Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) If 50% travel to Leigh that’s less than 4K, would think it’ll be less than that.Turd flushing nicely. Edited September 9, 2020 by Mounts Kipper Quote
nantwichwhite Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Just a ploy to get the rent down for the DW, looks like the twats are going to be saved, however they will have no ground and will hit rock bottom at a rapid rate of knots. Quote

Benny The Ball Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Administrators have put a statement out on Wigans Official Website this morning - despite playing in the Carabao cup they still dont have permission to start the league season - might be moving towards EFL issuing the 14 days notice The Joint Administrators recently met with representatives of the EFL for permission from them to start the season on 13 September 2020. We are informed that the board of the EFL are meeting later this week and one of the items is to consider this request. We have kept the EFL informed of the progress of selling the club and we are quietly optimistic that this permission will be given. An update will be given once the board of the EFL have written to us. Quote
DazBob Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Can they not just play at Colls? Be ideal for both clubs. Quote
MickyD Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 What was our timeline for the start of last season? Or maybe more importantly, Bury’s timeline. Quote

What is more we acknowledge and apologise for the mistake of our predecessors in opening the door to these smelly, scruffy cunts in 1978.
