Admin have just accepted a bid of £42.50 for Dan Gardner.

😄

We've made a couple of underwhelming signings but at least we're in Div 2, Dan Gardner wouldnt get in our squad looking at his CV.

Solomon Otabor has some talent but his career hasnt lived upto its potential to date; that's the market Wigan are in now, welcome to our world of the last couple of years, there will be worse players to come.

Hopefully Clayton Donaldson and Luke Murphy will be their marquee signings if they don't go pop

Welcome to the world of smelly Lonsdale wearing cretins talking faux Lancashire dialect for them two.

Believe.

Speaking to an Oldham fan about Wigan signing Dan Gardner and his response was "fuck me I thought he retired through injury".

First 6 cardboard cutouts better bring boots if they want a sub’s bench!

Won't the admins have done these deals, with them being in charge?

I was under the impression they were dead... I am not please with the false hope I was fed by this thread.

I'll accept a slow, painful death though of course. Let's hope they're 1 month deals and thinks rapidly deteriorate after a couple of losses early on.

If Nixon is to believed that's exactly what they are ...

One for the anoraks. Wigan can sign these lads for a month and they can still sign for someone else next month. A rare anomaly because of the way the window is this year.

Supporters Club put this statement  out earlier today

To all supporters of Wigan Athletic and the SAVE OUR CLUB crowdfunder.

Since our campaign began we have had plans in place to try and make a change that will secure the future of our football club. We believed that there was a will amongst Latics fans to act and make a difference for the better.

But we could never have imagined the strength of your support. We have been overwhelmed by everything that our supporters and the football family across the world have done to drive this campaign so far. Having already passed £600,000, every extra pound we now receive will make our voice stronger. So please keep pledging.

At this point our committee also wanted to give all supporters an update on the next steps we have urgently begun.

Firstly, we would like to reiterate that we will be working on behalf of you, the supporters. We are reviewing every option available in close detail and we are doing everything we can to drive the next stages of the process as quickly as possible. Once plans are in place, we will share what we believe is the best way to use your pledges. Rest assured that your donations will only ever be used in the best interests of our football club. Not just to save Wigan Athletic, but to secure its future too.

Due to legal restrictions and non-disclosure agreements we may not be able to share every detail with our supporters, and we may not be able to update you as often as we would like. But we will be transparent and open as far as possible and we will provide updates at every opportunity through our website and social media channels.

This week, with the consent of the administrators, Wigan Athletic Supporters Club have already met with one of the interested parties who have put in a bid to the administrators. They are very positive about working with us should their bid be successful and they are keen to ensure that they have local partners working with them to make the Football Club a future success.

We are also continuing to work with the council, the Community Trust, Jonathan Jackson, and other partners to ensure that there is a solution to the survival of our Football Club.

At every stage we will continue to keep the club and its supporters at the heart of everything we do, and together we will do everything we can to SAVE OUR CLUB and secure its future for generations to come.

Keep the faith.

From all the team at Wigan Athletic Supporters Club

I retired from football 10 years ago, but happy to announce Wigan Athletic offered me a short term deal.

The midfielders Morsy, Naismith and Evans still need to leave. They'd get in every other midfield in the division

Morsey off to Middlesbrough, no doubt the admin will bring in more out of contract players when all 3 leave, that’s if the EFL don’t pull the rug first.

Harsh, he's just a dirty munich cunt, don't go lumping the cunt with the amateurs.

The local newspaper has given several of what must be the Latics Speyk regulars an opportunity to have their say

Krasner wont be happy with a lot of what has been written - and no doubt will insist on a right to reply ...and the saga will go on ....  but bet even he's getting pretty pissed off with it all by now

You would think they would just be grateful to be turning a team out today and all keeping quiet for now and letting him get on with doing his job

Wigan Athletic: The 12th Man - 'We still don’t know if we’ll be Bury or Bolton. I don’t know who will own Latics, or who will own the stadium. All I know is we deserve better than Gerald Krasner'

Our panel of Wigan Athletic experts have taken just about all they can take from recent events...and just want the administrators out and their football club back.

For anyone with a morsel of sympathy for these CUNTS

Remember when Bolton fans were accused of getting more joy from a ManU loss than a Bolton win?

Well, here’s Wigan’s version of that. Wigan threw away a two goal lead today but this cock takes pleasure in Bolton losing!
