How come there isn't a thread for this ?

Is it because they've revealed their true colours, excuse the deliberate pun.

Folk were warned re their true intentions, but as always called racist by the naive.

I was in first form at Turton High and remember the teachers having to spend lunchtimes on Bromley Cross station stopping the older lads wagging school to go to afternoon games.

I'll pass given the fact that I'm calling a massive bollocks on that survey.

When I can be bothered/have time I'll look at the references.

It was prob 20 years later when i learned we had played another midweek afternoon game...sunderland i think?

Did southampton but the other one completely passed me by

I always thought there’d been about four games which dodged the power strikes. May be the passing of time blurring these things.

A few of us wagged school for the Sunderland game, next day we all got caned off the headmaster - a Mackem

A lovely new statue that apparently represents African culture. 😂

I like that woman as you go up the stairs at Bolton library with her knockers out

Drawn from Massi culture apparently. It looks pretty impressive.

Had an issue with racist tea towels towels today. Well, not in and of itself but a lot of organisatiions - especially regional ones - were created in a great philathropic boom which means a lot of slave owners money built them.

Thankfully, in this case, once he made his fortune, he became an abolitionist - always good to be able to afford your morals.

I follow Breaking911 for the comments

As a news organisation though, it's biased as fuck

How many kids had a rub while shouting, “boobies!”

Not me, obviously.

Was expecting Barry Wood on the edge of his bed tbh.

I see some Villa fans booed their own players taking the knee today.  Thankfully, the majority drowned them out with applause.

Thankfully, the taking the knee is decreasing in popularity, and with any luck, won't see out next season. If it indeed starts it.

I think it’ll fizzle out in the close season.

It is a funny one

If you think it is a good idea and highlighting issues the fact some people boo is actually a reason to keep it going, will be seen as backing down

if you think it is a bad idea you may continue to boo.

I think most people will be ambivalent or think it has run its course so probably stay quiet either way.

My feeling too.

I think it'll fizzle out too.  I just don't get the idea of booing your own players or booing a gesture that's obviously important to them.

Would you say as a lemon, that is a positive or negative impact 😃

One thing's for sure if Bolton players start taking the knee next season I'll just stop going, simple as that.
