Its appeasement, that's all it is, and more people will end up dying in the longer term if you essentially capitulate to agressors. These aren't peace deals in the slightest.

  • We’ve reached a point where folk are so entrenched in their support for trump that they’ll side with Putin if it means not losing face on the socials. Thats where we are now. its ok

  • That Vance is a bigger cunt than Trump

Annual NATO nuclear exercise being held next week hosted by Belgium but using our airspace too, could be some interesting sights on the old FR24.

Meanwhile I've read that NATOs bread and butter tactical nuclear bomb the B61 actually has the capability to set how strong a blast it yields by the crew launching it. And bearing in mind we assume tactical nukes are less powerful, its upper limit can be set to 8 times stronger than the bomb dropped on Nagasaki. Mind blowing.

Give over

It certainly would blow a few minds!

I would imagine most of the potential interesting sightings will he over the Eastern side of the country.

No live ammunition being carried- which might change quickly if the Belgorod re-appears.😁

I wasn't wrong, two QRA Typhoons sent to look at a BA A380 that declared an emergency over the Atlantic.

That wasn't even in the nuclear exercise script!

What does this mean in layman’s language?

A British Airways plane declared an emergency as it entered UK airspace heading to Heathrow so we sent our fighters up on alert from Lincolnshire to check it out. They got as far as the London suburbs before turning back and the BA plane landed so looks like a false alarm

Same happened last week a Jet 2 plane from Turkey came in and some pissed up bloke on there claimed there was a bomb onboard so it was escorted into Stansted (should have been going somewhere else). Imagine waking up to that hangover the morning after!

Wonder what happened here?

One of the comments- Russians testing their new kamikaze drone; the mig 29!

Sounding like it's a Russian SU-34 that's gone down. Before this war, that aircraft had a fearsome reputation for being a proper step up in capability for Russias air force. All based on supposition and propaganda.

They've lost about 2 squadron's worth of them already.

They said it was on a training flight (loaded with ammunition’s) I think you’ll know better than me why we have training flights in the Lake District and over the Welsh hills.

God knows what they're doing, think their whole training set up is up the wall to be honest. Either fast tracking people or drafting in retired pilots or Wagner mercs.

Got an onboard toilet that jet, maybe he'd gone for a shit!

Looking at the map, it could well have been hit by Ukrainian air defence systems and 'limped' back across the water.

Badly maintained ancient shite. Well actually it's relatively cutting edge considering the 25's they keep on losing. I am amazed they have any pilots left, probably why they are using so many drones.

Oh and on that subject, Iran needs seriously fucking with sanctions just like Russia.

Iran is subject to sanctions from America, and increasingly from Europe.

Won't necessarily stop them sending drones though.

Just need these protestors to turn it into a genuine revolution.

Not exactly reassuring.

How reassuring that we’ve got the A-team in number 10.

I actually like Ben Wallace. Like the cut of his jib.

Even if he is a Tory bastard nob ender.

Another completely overrated weapon that, bloody death traps! And again through propaganda it was originally thought to have been on a par with the A-10 until it actually saw action.

Imagine A-10 against some of these static Russian columns they'd absolutely tear through them.

If it wasn't for nukes Russia would have been obliterated by now.  Corruption runs so deep they literally can't service their air force properly as replacement parts fail so often. Same for their army with shite steel for tank turrets and so called advanced missile systems that keep failing. It is only because of the sheer number of old soviet crap they still have and the poor cannon fodder folk they are willing so sacrifice that they are still in the field.

Winter is coming and no way are Russian forces getting anywhere with their lack of supply lines. I just hope Putin doesn't do anything stupid and someone with some brains in the Kremlin does him in soon.

I read Tim Marshall’s stuff, he tends to be fairly accurate about geopolitical events, and he’s absolutely convinced Putin will use tactical nukes.

That will drag NATO into the fray and from there it really is down to just how mental Putin actually is in terms of how far it escalates.

The odds of it happening do seem much shorter now.

Id love Urkaine to somehow find their hands on some of these tactical nukes.. :)
