Same as always on here attack the clique and they all pile in. Like the lot who started the King Ken thing no it wasn't ironic or funny plenty supported him and got him completely wrong. Dontbline being reminded of that either. 

 

You can tell when the club is being run well and the results on the pitch are good.

I find myself in a strange position when it comes to Evatt that I haven't found myself in with any previous managers. 

In the past I've either not liked a manger and wanted him gone for good reason, or adversely I'd liked a manager long past when others' patience may have worn thin.

But with Evatt I realise he's clearly the right man for the job and taking the club in a positive direction both footballing and business wise... I just can't like him. I think he's an arrogant, obnoxious and sometimes deluded prick who needs to learn to hold his tongue in certain situations. 

It's a proper internal dilemma I have.

I do like how he ruffles Wiganers feathers though, so there's pros and cons. 

I fucking love him when we are doing well.

I think a number of these traits are what makes a manager, for arrogant see self believe in himself, for obnoxious I see real honesty, I don't think he is delusional at all.

Yeah all traits Big Sam had. Perhaps noticed more by us when he was managing elsewhere. Not bad traits really but yeah works best when we are winning. Gets up noses of opponents Evatt like BS did. Think deluded prick is a bit extreme (for IE) confrontational, opinionated, aggressive, unyielding, stubborn definitely.  Backs BWFC to hilt though long may that continue. 

Honestly don't mind him talking the club/team up. Mind rub some folk up the wrong way, but so what.

Having the ability to say the right things at the right time is key. Learning when to say nowt is also vital.

His openness/naivety may at times have written other managers' team talks, but in time it'll come good. 

Big Sam was just a bit more experienced and generally used it quite well.

Sometimes think he's stubborn, but generally speaking his squad and formation changes have paid dividends.

Ultimately look at his win ratio: around 43% in the league this season. Not bad at all straight after promotion.
