No slouches these men. we need wins on the board pretty sharpish, reckon if Lee and John are fit, we can do these.

Flatters to deceive, for me

It depends what the alternative is.  White and Comley kept him out of the team for ages.  The bar is low, and Tutte does have a habit of making a tackle and passing to a player in white that is further up the field than him, so he was/is miles better.  That's not to say we couldn't get better than him (Lee?).

My team of choice:

Gilks

Brockbank, Santos, Baptiste, Jackson

Tutte, Lee

Gnahoua, Darcy, Delfouneso

Doyle

5-1 win. Let’s have ‘em.

Unfortunately he’s as good as we’ve got. Spearing showed last week he’s miles better than him. So is Jason Lowe, 2 who didn’t get many plaudits with us

Strange how the breaking news that our captain will be out out injured for a month was glossed over.

We owe Orient after we didn’t turn up at their place.

3-0 us

I want Fonz up front with Doyle sniffing around him, I don't think its working with Doyle as the front man.

On the assumption Fonz turns up that is, I'd just like us to be able to keep the ball up the pitch for a period.

Delfouneso should be nowhere near the starting eleven. He’s lazy, doesn't tackle, regularly goes missing and hardly looks interested. You can’t rely on players like that so we need players who put in a shift and look like they want it. Arthur looks like he does so should start instead of Fonz. Greenidge is the only true replacement for Delaney so should partner Santos. He’s also good in the air at both ends. Tutte Lee Isgrove and Thomason in midfield with Jones at RB and John at LB if fit and if not the kid from Huddersfield to start. I’d also like to see Hickman given another chance if Jones isn’t doing it, he has pace and can get behind defenders and should do well with Isgrove.

I don't disagree, and if playing wide of a front three also think Arthur should start too.

However, I don't think Doyle as the no. 9 is working, hence Fonz, (or Miller?) as the target with Doyle sniffing around. Much like Madine and Le Fondre.

I'm not extolling the virtues of Fonz, just I think a change of shape may help us.

Sarcevic out for a month means we'll probably see more of Crawford.  Urgh.

3 5 1 1

Baptiste/Brockbank.    Santos.    Greenidge

                     Lee. Tutte. Thomason

Isgrove/Jones                                   Jackson/John

                          Doyle

                                  Fonz/Miller

I think Arthur should prob start but IE commented on his poor defensive attributes so maybe not as a wingback if we play three at the back?

My fear too.

I'm sure Tutte and Lee will play, though if the latter can't manage the full 90, then Jackson may go there (he is a midfielder after all), that of course, assumes John is available for left back.

Certainly would give Thomasson a go in Sarcevic' position.

Still couldn’t guess the line up

0-0

See these men have won 1 and lost 4 of their last 5 away games

Proper Pro is Gilks. We'd have been even more fucked without him to fall back on.

I’m am a bit worried can’t see where a wins coming from, the teams unsettled, we can’t find a wining formation, think we need to go right back to basics, aim for a clean sheet and start building from there.

So is Gilks it then, always assumed we'd be getting a keeper in Jan??

Be another one in before Monday’s deadline.

Evatt said last night we’ll be getting more bodies in. I’m expecting a GK and a striker, potentially a surprise other one.

Just a Twitter rumour but would make sense, seen Jayson Leutweiler mentioned.

Played plenty for Shrewsbury, a couple of seasons at Blackburn and started this season at Fleetwood as no 1. Released from his contract recently.

What’s Baz Siddall up to, I’ve got a spare cap if he fancies a comeback?

I could barely understand him through that broad Scottish brogue.

Staggering if that's how it goes. The original Crellin decision was ridiculous. The length of time it took to accept he wasn't up to it merely exacerbated it. Gilks, as his deputy not keeping match fit was a mistake.  Add that to those games not even having a keeper on the bench ... a bench of 7 !! ... ludicrous.

It all adds to the Mr. Stubborn image for Evatt. Oh, & Mr. Wrong.

We need one now, we've needed one all season of course. It may be a loan, allowing a new permanent decision to be left till summer, but Premiership and Championship clubs with squad limits will have spares, unable to play and available.

But, for me, this is a real test of whether Evatt has a clue.
