Are we going up?

The other day Rudy said we were 250-1 to win the league.

I put £10 on at 150-1.

Decent odds for a team on a roll.

  • Actually the new Bolton is go one up, miss 27 chances then defend for last 25 minutes potentially with 10 men and pretty certain with a non goal keeper in nets after Gilks injures himself knee sliding

Talk about a week being a long time in football.  With 10 minutes to go at Mansfield they were 2 pts above us with a game in hand, top of the form table and looking at play offs.  A week later we're 1

  • Still have every faith. Not even arsed we lost today. Had to lose somewhere and now is the right time to do it. I think Maddison needs a couple of starts.

We are 13/8 for promotion now, these last results and performances have shown we are real contenders. If we had not conceded late goal at Bradford we could well be odds on by now.

Just looking back at my Skybet account. Only 6 weeks ago I got us at 22/1 for promotion. Crazy how it’s shifted in such a short time.

We've made up 7 points in 10 games on Cheltenham

Port Vale only conceded 6 goals in their last 6 games! No pushover then!

Cheltenham scored 3 of those!  Not scored a goal in last 3 homes.

Not that 'form' matters against these as shown with the 6-3.

let's see what Paddy Power made of that!

It’s happening chaps.

There'll come a time when we'll have to consider it?

No chance pays 1200 if we win

Think of the wine

A touch of pragmatism may be required should Cheltenham keep winning though.

We may have to settle for second!

Yes probably getting giddy

fully expect Cheltenham to win Tuesday which would put them 8 clear

I’ll take second

I know a few have a shilling or 2 on winning the league but I’ll snap anyone’s hand off to be L1 next season - however it happens.

If they do, and again Saturday, could the cash out offers start to drop, even if we win as well?

It pays £175 now and £1200 if we win league ?

If so cash out. We are 12/1 and £175 at 12/1 returns £2275, you could bank £75 put £100 on at 12/1 and you have £75 in your pocket and £1300 if we win league

Didn’t realise we are 12/1 good shout👍

12/1 is bet 365 Cheltenham injury time winner might have affected your cash out

£98.35 for me.

12/1 is about a grand, so light of the £1,500 I stand to win.

I had £20 at 50/1

Cash out is £70

Currently 10/1

@MalcolmW, what’s that projection looking like?

Next Saturday looks massive...

Cheltenham v Salford
Cambridge v Forest Green
Tranmere v Exeter

If you seriously think we'll make the top 3, place the bet sooner rather than later.

I'm getting £85 cash out on a £15  top 3 20/1 bet. Win £315

And £25 cash out on a £5 league champions bet 80/1. Win £405

I can't see us being champions, will wait a couple more games and maybe cash out and pile on top 3.

£25 at 12/1 gets you £275

To be getting value you would to be getting £31, so you £6 short in £25 so bookies margin on cash in is about 25%.
