Are we going up?

The other day Rudy said we were 250-1 to win the league.

I put £10 on at 150-1.

Decent odds for a team on a roll.

  • Actually the new Bolton is go one up, miss 27 chances then defend for last 25 minutes potentially with 10 men and pretty certain with a non goal keeper in nets after Gilks injures himself knee sliding

    Talk about a week being a long time in football.  With 10 minutes to go at Mansfield they were 2 pts above us with a game in hand, top of the form table and looking at play offs.  A week later we're 1

  • Still have every faith. Not even arsed we lost today. Had to lose somewhere and now is the right time to do it. I think Maddison needs a couple of starts.

I've completed my wallchart for the remaining fixtures. With pencilled in outcomes for each match (to be overwritten with results as they arise).

My efforts to be impartial extend to giving Tranmere a better outcome than I'd like, and I may well have been optimistic with our own hopes. Strangely, Mansfield appear to have plenty fluke results going against them.

Anyway, as it stands I have:

Tranmere 84, Bolton 82, Cheltenham 81;

Forest Green 78, Carlisle 77, Salford 76, Cambridge 75;

Newport 73, Bradford C 72, Exeter 72, Morecambe 72.

Taking into account todays results:

Bolton 82, Cheltenham 81, Tranmere 81;

Forest Green 80, Cambridge 77, Carlisle 76, Salford 74 / Morecambe 74;

Newport 73, Bradford C 72, Exeter 72.

Now those are the types of predictions I like 😀

I take today as 2 points lost , same with Morecambe with those 4 points I think we would be odds on for promotion. We are 9/2 for promotion now still a big ask.

9/2 with 14 games left, if we keep up this current form we will piss it, looking at our squad cannot see us not keeping up current form, think we’re a league 1 team in league 2.

Spot on

80 plus points is where it’s at

We just scored two last minute winners on consecutive Saturdays to give us an extra 4 points, swings and roundabouts fella.

I know you are right but we were by far the better team in both the games were dropped points. I think we were better team in the games we won, plus the two I mentioned were against promotion rivals.

Get the Mounts millions on it then. 😁 I think we are over priced but refuse to bet on Bolton ever

Looks like Tranmere could be fucked, Vaughan having a knee op, could be out for the season

I’m on at 33/1 & 40/1 that’ll do for me. 👍

They’ll miss his goals, 18 this season, be surprised if they can replace those goals, if he’s out all season they’ll not finish above us.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

Damned right we are; as Champions

We would have to implode not to at least make the play offs.

We are 7th now.

Exeter are a point behind with 2 games in hand.

Crawley and Bradford C are both too close for comfort.

Salford are in a rut and Carlisle look as though they are floundering, but we are far from guaranteed a top 7 place. But all that said I still think we are on schedule for automatic promotion, possibly as champions.

We play Port Vale on Saturday.

Of the teams around us, Exeter v Cheltenham and Morecambe v Newport. If we win by a couple and both those games are drawn we could end up 4th.

We've got the best squad of players by miles. We look unbeatable great strength and ability all over the field, particularly in midfield and defence. We will have failed if we don't get in the p!at offs, at least.

All this good run has done is to put us in the mix really.

Like I said in the match thread - from here on in, it's the 3 teams out of the top 8 who can put a few good results back-to-back together

14/1 to win league, 5th favs.

6/4 for promotion, same.

According to the bookies FGR & Cheltenham have flown.

365 was 14/1 10 minutes ago, now down to 10/1. Waiting for the promotion odds to come up but they’re taking their time about it.

Be serious, even if we end up in the play offs, we will be strong favourites if we are still playing like this

Only a 6-0 will put us 4th on goal difference with Tranmere

If we play like we are we won't end up in play offs.

Aye, probs

We, as their manager admitted, were a class apart tonight
