Get an early goal and GD won’t be a problem.

Would still fancy us to sneak a 1-0 if necessary, but it would be nice to get in front early doors and rack a few up.

Be good for the nerves if we could go into a 3-0 lead. Once again we can enjoy watching others lose points if we get the win and 1-0 will do but please get a few this game

Any win will do, given other fixtures just keep winning.

or, get a few ahead quickly and rotate ready for game on Easter Monday

I hope that IE who may be a lurker on here has read @RatchetMancriticism and can somehow makes the opposition not defend as well or work their bollocks off to stay in the game with us so we score more goals but also keep a clean sheet.

Not a chance

Like to see Lee brought back into his regular position and play Arthur in the number 10 position behind doyle ,   looked like we missed Lee playing closer to Jordan Williams (wont cal him mj , hes a grown man) .

If we don’t twat these men 5-0 I won’t be happy

Delfouneso behind Doyle and Isgrove on the right for me.

So 4-0 just won’t do?

My prediction - Bolton 3 - 0 Colchester

Me 2

Win not bothered about the score; be nice to enjoy watching the last 20 minutes though so a lead of two would be wonderful

Our last time in Division 4, we lost away to Colchester (4-0?), but thrashed them at home.

Did we also play them then on a Friday (good Friday)?

This was exactly my point and I have been hounded for it.

Played them away on a Friday night. I know we lost, 3-0 I think December time.

Beat them 4-0 at home. Chandler came on and scored after missing most the season.

Over to you Mr Politic

Cheers Dave.

So a 3-0 win to us this time then!

Take that.

Any news on Politic ?

IE said the other day he was doing OK, but no reference to whether he might make the finale.

Can't see it to be honest.

21-1.

Awful error by Gilks gives Colchester the lead. He later scores 2, going up for corners. Maddison scores 7.

Evatt bemoans losing the goal-free defensive run.

bank holiday monday

5-0

Got to click at least once this season

Time to really punish a team.

They’ve won 1 of their last 22.

How many had Vale lost before the 6-3? Happy with a cautious 1-0 win

I don’t think anything will change, other than a few personnel and why should we? Colchester will sit in hoping to catch us on the break and it will be a case of breaking them down. I’d love to see a big win but we just don’t do BIG wins but we do do wins and whilst I’d like to see more goals a 1-0 will do fine as long as we get the 3 points. Hopefully Maddison can come on for the last 30 minutes and show he’s improved, got fit and is worth sticking with.
