Think Miami will be accusing you of deflecting here mate.

A shout out to the farmer for bringing the gaffer to the game. Proper samaritan.

Hope the club does something in return; who knows we may have lost yesterday without him witnessing the first half and changing things. Could even seal promotion.

I’m shocked that Chesterfield to Bolton in a Kia in snow is done across the Peak District rather than M1 M62.

Another manager gone . forest green

GT take a bow

In theory, its an easy pass

But that one on 37 seconds is a thing of beauty

No snow when he set off was the way I read it. Maybe it's a 4x4 too- my brother has one and he says it's excellent in the white stuff.

Cracking clip that one.

It was an unbelievable contribution, being an integral part of us looking a completely different team in that 2nd half. Hats off to the young man.

Brilliant gt, needs to start for me.

What i like about GT is that after he passes the ball he moves, always trying to make himself available to receive it again in space. A busy little player.

Agree Bogs and in doing so it encouraged others to do the same and we became a different team second half. It’s annoying how slowly we sometimes start with little tempo and players static instead of the quick pass and move team that we can be and which can destroy any team in this league.

We are too ponderous at times, which skews the possession stats. We might have 70% of the ball in the first half of some games, but you can bet most of the touches are by Gilks, Santos & Baptiste.

We beat FGR 1-0 and the goalscorer, Doyle, touched the ball 20 times all game. This is causing Doyle to drop too deep on occasions.

Exactly this, then the ball gets passed to someone in midfield with their back to goal and a marker up their arse and we lose possession. GT is always moving & making himself available in space, it opens things up for us.

Because he always looks to go forward Bogs. Even if he receives the ball back to opposition goal and marked, he has the ability to turn and beat his man to go forward, which most of the others don’t. Hopefully IE will start with him in a midfield 3 with Lee and MJ on Tuesday and if he does I think Salford will find it hard to get through us. I would though like to see George shoot more as well because he has that in his armoury and can be a real threat. For now though I’m more than happy with what he does, so three more points on Tuesday will set us up nicely for the remaining games.

It’s ok having the ball but it what’s you do with it

no matter how much football changes that always remains the case.

At the minute we’re winning more football matches than we aren’t so can’t be too critical. But, as we move in to L1 and definitely be aiming to get out of that in to the championship our possession, speed of how we play, positivity in our passing, winning the ball back, pretty much everything needs to go up another notch

If IE can achieve what he has so far BC, with the meagre resources he’s had, I have no doubts that when we get into L1 (next season hopefully) he will be able to strengthen in all the areas we need to to challenge for the Championship.

Absolutely and to be fair the nucleus of the side is L1 level. Particularly if we manage to retain John and Dapo

however, whilst the step from L2 to L1 isn’t huge (compared to L1 to champ) we won’t be offered as much respect. Teams will get at us more, be better at it and will punish our sloppy / slow Play more often.

overall performance has to go up another notch.
