I read that 14,000 EU lorry drivers left jobs in the UK since brexit, and only 600 have returned.

Covid caused loss of tests to be cancelled.

I was roundly mocked on here a couple of years ago when I predicted Brexit-related issues would eventually result in Military personnel being deployed on UK streets.... and this is just the beginning...

Tanker drivers don’t count, looks like it has to be full on marines, combat ready and taking down terrified remainers as they try to run away whilst ditching their EU flags now.

I've decided to cheer myself up by taking myself to Chinatown for all you can eat Dim Sum.

To be fair, I think there was only Bolty suggesting that we go WTO, and as he doesn't live here then his opinion on the matter of Brexit isn't really relevant anyway.

Was speaking to a guy today who has a hybrid company car for the past 3 years but never plugged it in. Literally just uses it for the tax benefit

Drove past a petrol station in Spring View (Wigan) that was charging 149.9 for unleaded. Needless to say, there wasn’t a queue.

I had one at last company I was at and never charged it in 2 years. Worse was I was averaging 24mpg. My monthly fuel bill doubled but was ok for me as I Didnt pay the fuel and my BIK more than halved.

 

oh I’m in Wakefield this evening just arrived and thought I would fill up. One other person at station. 132.9 unleaded.😎 clearly not a retard intensive gaff this either.

The Government are to take their 80 reserve fuel tankers and tractor-units out of their mothballed state and loan them to the petrol companies.
