  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

🤐. For balance, quite a lot of players use this gym.

Assuming it's a public gym, that surprises me- doesn't the club have such facilities?

There’s a gym at Lostock but it doesn’t have a swimming pool unlike said public gym if it’s still the same gym that has been used previously

Adeboyejo has looked perfectly fit and healthy on the few occasions I've seen him at the gym in the last week or so.

Not suggesting he isn't injured, but wouldn't think it's a back injury!

Were you sprinkling pepper near him by any chance?

Just listened to that the last word thing iles does he reckons adeboyejo hurt his back by sneezing .

It'll be someone at the club winding him up

Any report on Desmond today ?

Evatt says he jarred his knee but was taken off because he'd previously injured said knee last season

They don't expect it to be anything serious

They always say that but let’s hope this time they’re right. 🙂

Honestly no idea. Back in the Euxton training days the club had a link up with the Chorley branch of the gym. Guessing it’s a ‘perk’ offered to players

Vic may well be injured. Just not sure lifting weights would help with a back injury (but I’m not a physio)

👍

In the Big Sam days they used to use Esporta (now Nuffield) for "active recovery" on a Sunday morning

My Dad, in his early twenties I think, once sneezed whilst washing up and it did something to a nerve in his back.  Suffered with it for years and years.

That'll learn him for washing up.

Wasn’t there something about why your eyes close when you sneeze as the force could blow your eyeballs out?

My friend had a boss that was on a golf course playing with another man that had suffered for years with bad headaches and occasional blurred vision, anyway this man suddenly sneezed and a massive dangling snot shoots out of one nostril, he pulls it and its like a long rubber band.

Apparently her boss is vomiting at the sight of this but that man felt instantly cured after years of suffering.

Sneeze is good for you.

I sneezed in Tesco's* & felt a very sharp pain in my rib-cage and it hurt like shite to breath deeply.

I'd fractured two lower ribs by the tip.

*other supermarkets are available.

I known many patients that have suffered from muscle hernias , "slipped" disc problems , blackouts , anuerisms, torn abductor & adductor  muscles and even a fatal brain heamorrhage whilst having severe coughing or sneezing fits . The amount of pressure built up in the body is pretty incredible.

There is also something called cough or coughing syncopy where the act of coughing shoots the bodys blood pressure so high its an instant collapse.

Tell the missus you're not washing up because you've read that someone's dad put their back out for years.

Question is will Vic now play with a tissue strapped under his nose?
